Hey guys here is a new knife that I am working on. It is a clip point hunter from 5/32" 1084 steel. 5 5/8" long blade with 4 5/8" handle. I will be fitting this with some wood scales at some point. Though at this point I am undecided of which direction to go and where I should source them from. We will see. I will post some updates as I progress through this build.

It's gonna be a biggun'...

Don't know why but I'm thinking brass hand guard and rosewood handles would look good on it.

Yeah the last one I made was a bit small for me, so I decided to go bigger. This is a bit bigger than I had in mind.

I like the rosewood idea. I really hadn't thought about soldering on a hand guard but that may be a pretty good idea... Now your putting ideas in my head.

Why do you say that? That is pretty much the first negative to 1084 I have heard in that regard... I am only planning on taking it to a 600gr polish. I'm not big on mirror polish... yet:D

cool design though.

Thank you Sir!
