The Senate isn't sure of the individual right to keep and bear arms?

Thanks. They didn't update their page and it looks like their adviser on the constitution, Johnny H. Killian, died in 2008 (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/04/30/AR2008043003539.html). (RIP)

The Secretary of the Senate is Nancy Erickson (http://www.senate.gov/reference/common/person/nancy_erickson.htm), but I don't see her contact info.

They say we can write to webmaster@sec.senate.gov

Here are some links to 2nd Amendment Info:
Wikipedia Page for the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Amendment_to_the_United_States_Constitution )

NRA amicus brief (http://www.nraila.org/media/PDFs/nra_amicus_heller.pdf)
Wikipedia Page on District of Columbia v. Heller

Any other references we should include? I think I'll let them know they need to update this page. Hope everyone reading can join in, too.

It means whatever we want it to mean.

Only the people can defend the Constitution. It belongs to us, and instructs the government what to do. The courts can do whatever they want, or interpret it however the political wind is blowing that day. As an example look at the Obamacare decision! No way can the government force us into commerce as long as they tax us, ridiculous!! The SCOTUS has done this before, made decisions based on whether the government will lose power. F that. It is what it is. And the 2nd Amendment is what is says!!

Only we can put pressure to maintain what we feel is proper. Who else is going to do it, the Senate?!?!
