I just learned that Break Free no longer makes their liquid bore cleaner. That's all I have used for years and I swear it's the best I have ever used. I guess my opinion is not shared by many other shooters. Anybody have any suggestions for a good alternative? I don't like foams or aerosols. Thank you!

Hopps?

I used to use Hoppe's but I can't stand the smell. I know there are some that love the smell but I'm not one of them. A few years back a gunsmith suggested that I try Break Free and it just works really well.

I like the foaming cleaners but they are messy. Usually I just run a boresnake and some CLP.

I like the foam stuff too but I still brush it also. l clean with a brush, degrease and then foam for 15 mins. Then i still brush it.

Try some Hoppes Elite. Works awesome, and smells like Windex.

I use it in combination with Breakfree CLP on all my arms.

You know Breakfree is owned by Safariland and BAE a British Aerospace Engineering company bought Safariland and started to run the American company into the ground. BAE is why products are being cut.
