purchase again anything at a gun show...
I broke down. I really needed a couple of stripped lowers just for the safe.
Something I may need one day but of no real importance.
My local dealers love to charge close to fifty bucks for transfers...
I'm a capitalist pig but fifty bucks is, well, ****ing bull****.
And rarely do I find a manufacturer that I really want.
If I needed a good lower, with limited sales in my area, the only place I could see that would give me the opportunity was at the show...
Market Hall...DFW....
Oh, ****…
The last time I was there the Nazi collectors, creeps, long haired weirdo’s in cammy's, the stupid prices, bad attitudes of every fat **** seller and the absurd lack of customer friendliness there ran me off. I swore them off for good, or so I thought.
This last weekend was no exception, except for one.
Run off from Model 1 Sales as the buffoon salesman tells me they don't allow people to "finger" their uppers, waving me off as though I was an insect or something.
This as the customer next to me was stroking their product.
Good job *******.
Then the cretin at the "Rock River Arms" banner, unknown exactly what their relationship is to RRA, whom told me that he does not sell RRA stripped lowers and why should he sell me a lower when I should just buy the whole gun from him...
All the while wearing that **** eating grin on his face.
**** you too *******.
In my haste to ****ing RUN to the exit, Hector at Cold War Shooters spotted me with my most annoyed look on my face.
In a pleasant and friendly manner (a tip that you moron ****s the sell your crap at gun shows need to heed) asked me if he could "help me....I looked frustrated." I said "yea, looking for somebody that is NOT AN ******* WHO WANTS TO SELL ME A COUPLE OF LOWERS!"
He smiled, shook my hand, and led me to a table of at least six quality stripped lowers.
He said he would be glad to sell me any that I wanted.
So, we had a nice conversation, I met Rudy and Michele and their sweet kiddies running around helping with the transactions…
…we concluded our transaction.
I was impressed, perhaps a little taken aback with their total attitude.
I marveled at their friendliness with everybody that came to their table. I thought how strangely different it was from the riffraff and *******s that now populate the show circuit.
I was so impressed, I returned Sunday and purchased another lower.
I had to hold my nose to entire walk from the entrance to CWS table, but it sure was worth it.
Thanks to Hector, Rudy and Michele, and their darling kids.
To the rest of you gun show jerk-offs,
**** OFF and DIE mother****ers. You WILL NEVER SEE ANY OF MY CASH.
