has anyone used it? If so how does it look , does it hold up well? Any info would be appreciated greatly and pics would be great too.

I think I'll keep my bias opinion to myself.

It's good stuff. I've used it to refinish some pistols, FALs, AKMs, mags, accessories. I still have some left, just waiting for the next project(s) to finish.

The finish has held up very well over the years. All the firearms were:

media blasted with aluminum oxide
air brushed with KG GunKote. Parts were pre-heated before air brushing and then baked in the oven.

Finish is very thin, not affecting tolerances and slippery than snot. Doesn't hold heat in, lets firearms cool down.

I've used Norrell's Moly Resin also. I do the same prep with the firearms, that I do with KG GunKote.

I think your signature says it already. ;)

To the OP: no matter what you choose to spray, it's all in the prep.
Crappy prep makes for crappy results.
Good prep usually makes for good results as long as you don't do something completely wrong while spraying...

I agree the key to any good finish is in the prep to the metal . Gunkote is a good product but not very abrasion resistant.
