I love this gun!

I went out shooting the 375 H&H this morning getting ready for my hunting trip next month and shot it off the shooting sticks to set it up 1" high at 100 yards.

I've been shooting it with another bullet for practice (300 grain Hornady softpoints because they're cheaper) and my 300 grain TSX load shoots about 2-3 inches left at 100 yards (top right target). I adjusted it too many clicks right (1/2" clicks, Duh!) and shot the bottom right target (adjusted between shots).

I then shot one shot at each target on the left and was happy with it.

The expected shots for bushbuck are <100 yards and I'll shoot it out to about 200 yards for blue wildebeest, impala, etc.

I hate the I phone on photobucket! If the picture doesn't look right, rotate the picture 90 degrees left.

That should work. Heck for plains game in a 375 the Hornady bullets would work.
Have a great trip.

Lucky... a safari is on my bucket list. Seems so far outta my reach at the moment...

This makes more sense:

Have a great trip. I can't wait to read your after action report. Your cape buffalo story will always be one of the best reads on CGN.

Excellent story, Frank. I didn't know they'd actually lie in wait for you and try to ambush you! Wow. Your guide wanted to leave before it got dark and he came looking for you, straight out of a horror movie! LOL!

Great story. I had heard/read Cape Buffalo is said to be the only animal that hunts you, while you're hunting it. Looks like it's true.

Thanks guys, it's always great to hear good comments. Every evening I write in a journal while I'm in Africa so that I don't forget anything.
