How do you like your ULTimak Rail? Does it help the placement of your tripower? The reason I ask is that I just bought a tripower for my Socom II but it sits to high up?

Biff..., I love the ULTimak rail, (go to Blackjackbuffers.com they have it on sale now) it really did help lower the Tripower. It helps with with the co-witness also. The Tripower scope is awesome but I'm not to happy with the ring mount it came with, I'm looking on getting the Burris Extreem Tactical 30mm low(1/4") ring.

Curious about the Ultimak rail... is it a stable platform? I assume it uses a bracket to secure to the barrel, so it won't move and change the position of the optic in relation to the barrel, correct?

Thanks.

There are eight screws total, and I didn't notice any movement at all. You can use lock tight on the screws.
