Introducing a highly Hand Select Warren Tactical 9mm Operator. Since I have sold all the 9mm Operators (some 45 ACP Operators still left), I have only this hand select one left. Out of 2 dozen Operators, this one was selected to be the 'best' -- smoothest action and the barrel polished with lead rounds and the surfaces mating perfectly.

It belongs to my daughter who enjoyed shooting it (never holstered) just practiced ... but now her priorities have shifted. She would desire the money invested in the 9mm Operator to go to school work.

Here is what I have done to it to make it 'custom:'

1) I placed a racing stripe on the rear sight for fast acquisition during IDPA drills.
2) I cut the long trigger to the short trigger to fit my daughters smaller hands. It fits perfectly and don't knock it till you try it ... the trigger feels awesome. Yes I catch 'hell' from my buddies, but I outshoot them anyway with this 9mm Operator.

A little history about the former FBI Operator Scott Warren and the Warren Tactical Series as made by Springfield Custom Shop. Because there is very limited capacity in the very small exclusive shop at Springfield Custom, very few Warren Tacticals (WTS) are produced each year. Right now Springfield is about 18 months out on their line and WTS becomes even more rare as gunsmithing expertise is spread very thin.

The Warren Tactical Series 9mm Operator is made by the Legendary Springfield Custom Shop under the Auspices of Dave Williams. These gunsmiths are the same clever elves that make the FBI/HRT Professionals and Railed Professionals. Here is a link to the American Pistolsmith Guild:

http://americanpistolsmithsguild.com/2013-pistolsmith-of-the-year/

This pistol is the closest thing to getting the new HRT Professionals carried by the FBI special field agents - without being a special SWAT operator. Special Two Tone finish, Recessed Lanyard attachment, and Scott Warren's famous WTS fibre optik sights.

Here is the Scoop on this particular pistol:

Scott Warren, the proprietor of Warren Tactical Sights and a great IDPA competitor, was instrumental in directing the FBI's HRT unit towards getting a new pistol platform. He wrote out the specs and invited the different manufacturers to undergo an intensive shootoff of the best 1911's that money or in this case - your taxpayers' money could buy. At the very end, it was the Springfield Custom Shop with Dave Williams at the helm which won this selection process and the 'Bureau' model was born. Later this pistol became known as the 'Professional' and then the 'Operator' -- also called the Railed Professional.

When Scott retired from the FBI, he started his own company called Warren Tactical Series. He commissioned Dave at Springfield Custom to build a small series of these limited handmade pistols. It encompasses the next generation of HRT pistols: namely the two TONE look of attractive olive drab and black. It also has the maritime/repelling requirement of the lanyard loop.

Here is the chance to own the pistol that has it's lineage with the originator of the FBI HRT Railed Professional.

This pistol uses the same great fibre optik sights and great for outdoor shooting and practice.

I am asking an audacious price but these are non roster difficult to get pistols. You can have this Hand Selected Operator now by PPT in Southern Kal or Even NoKal!

Asking $4798 FTF private party transfer only.

Lightly fired for buttery smooth action (500rds of lead mostly)
Early Serial number and first run/batch of Warren Tactical Operators

If you think this is expensive, Todd Louis Green of Pistol Training has his carry 1911 9mm Heirloom Precision set at the price of $7500. http://pistol-training.com/archives/9352

This pistol cannot be shipped within Kalif as many of you are aware. After talking with Dave Williams, there is at minimum a $500 price increase across the Springfield Custom shop. The skilled elves get a raise every once in a while.

For sale: Like New HK Mk 23 45 ACP pistol, aka the SOCOM pistol.
Two Barrel system for Kompliance

The most tested military pistol in history.

s4qaZATtYiU

In 1989, US SOCOM began reviewing their equipment to see which gear fit the needs of their special close quarters battle role. Studying small arms revealed that there were 120 types and configurations of infantry weapons in different units. The logistics of getting spare parts for all these weapons was overwhelming. In response, SOCOM decided to standardize small arms among all units. One area of improvement was the pistol, undertaken by the Offensive Handgun Weapon System (OHWS) competition. It would replace pistols like the 9 mm M9, which was used by regular troops as a secondary weapon.

What makes the Mk 23 unique as a military pistol is that it is considered a match grade pistol and is capable of making a 2-inch group at 25 meters. The MK 23 has exceptional durability in harsh environments, being waterproof and corrosion-resistant. It possesses a polygonal barrel design, which is reported to improve accuracy and durability. It also features an ambidextrous safety and magazine release on both sides of the frame. The magazine release is at the rear edge of the trigger guard, which is wide enough to allow the use of gloves. A decocking lever is on the left side, which will silently lower the cocked hammer. The MK 23 is part of a larger weapon system that includes an attachable Laser Aiming Module (LAM), a suppressor, and some other features such as a special high-pressure match cartridge (.45 +P ammunition) that has become a collectors item.

The firearm was tested and found to be capable of firing 30,000 rounds without a barrel change. It remains reliable in harsh conditions, making it suitable for use by special forces. The .45 ACP round has considerable stopping power and yet is subsonic, making it suitable for use with a suppressor.

The caliber for the OHWS was quickly decided not to be the NATO standard 124 gr. 9 mm due to lack of stopping power. The FBI had selected the 10 mm auto to replace their 9 mm pistols, but it was too powerful, few manufacturers produced it, and the round caused short weapon service life. The .45 ACP caliber was chosen and improved upon with the high velocity, high pressure 185 gr. +P loading made by Winchester/Olin.

The OHWS pistol had to fire many types of rounds in addition to the +P cartridge and have a long service life with the high pressure ammo. The M1911 had been proven in service for over 70 years, but was rejected. High pressure rounds would destroy it and it did not fire reliably with a suppressor. Upgrading the M1911 would cost more than it was worth, so it was decided that they would select an entirely new design. A request for quote was for a system that included a pistol, suppressor, and laser aiming module. The pistol had to be corrosion resistant, have a high mean rounds between failures (MRBF) - about 6,000 rounds, and be able to serve as a primary weapon.

This is an unique opportunity of a rare pistol in Kalifornia. Easily one of the most accurate pistol produced (custom and production), it is overbuilt to be able to shoot even the 45 Super. I have included some nice videos for your education. I hope you enjoy my post.

The P7 is a German 9×19mm semi-automatic pistol designed by Helmut Weldle and produced by Heckler & Koch GmbH (H&K) of Oberndorf am Neckar. The debut of P7 pistol to the public for the first time was in 1976 as the PSP (Polizei-Selbstlade-Pistole—"police self-loading pistol").

http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2015/01/jeremy-s/heckler-koch-p7-is-the-best-pistol-ever/

This is a SPECIAL shooter HK P7M8. This pistol started life in Germany as a Federal Police (Bundespolizei) sidearm. After living in the holster, it was brought back to HK and refurbished and refinished for importation to the United States in 1992. It's one of these with the 'milled' slide on the right, plum finish, and German Police emblem.
This pistol is essentially new from the factory after being brought to mechanical 'newness' and only test fired. It has seen no further duty but sits in the safe.

This sale only includes this Pistol, one factory mag and a regular hard non factory plastic case.
It does have Trijicon Night Sights
No factory box, manual, scraper nor other accessories.

You can really appreciate the unique German Design and Engineering:

All steel construction
Compact -- very slim design
Extremely precise machining tolerances and assembly which culminates into accurate placement of shots. This is a pistol that you can deliver deliberate shot placement.
Utilizes "ECONOMY" of motion with the squeeze cock action putting the pistol into cocked and ready to shoot mode, releasing the slide after mag reload, and added safety because the uninitiated (like children) will have difficulty firing this weapon (little extra degree of difficulty/safety).

Some of the neat things about the P7M8:

1. Fixed barrel - most accurate pistol when it was introduced. It uses delayed blowback technology -- something new at that time.

2. 3.5-4 pound crisp trigger pull - one of the best German production trigger out there. It's very crisp 'break' like the single action trigger of the venerable 1911.

3. Gas recoil system - it likes the high pressure high velocity 9mm parabellum loads like the ol' German Geco BAT loads (solid copper/hypervelocity rounds).

4. Squeeze cocker - Very safe. Can only fire when in the shooter's hand. Very fast reloads as the cocker also serves as the slide release. Anecdotal reports of bad guy (especially newer generation of them) obtaining the gun but couldn't figure out how to use it.

5. Easily Removable firing pin - great for leaving the gun in the house with guests or kids around if you need to disable the firearm and don't have a lock box or safe around.

6. Squeeze-cock effect (part two) - There is an initial grip pressure required to cock the pistol but once that is achieved, it only takes a minimum amount of grip effort to keep the pistol in the cocked and ready to fire.

7. Original polygonal rifling - something uniquely German from decades ago to take advantage of hammer forging and allow a gentle engagement and spin of the bullet.

8. Fluted chamber -- it allows the empty case to 'float' away from the chamber for easier extraction. It's one of the few pistols where if the extractor is removed, the pistol will still eject the spend casing and keep firing.

9. American-style and index finger ambidextrous mag release. Quick and easy changes of the magazine.

10. Everyone wants to be a little 'Hans Gruber' some time, right?

Brand New, Never Shot HK 45C

Up for sale is a NIB Heckler and Koch 45C with standard luminescent 3 dot sights and in Variant 1 configuration (cock, locked and decocked modes).

A very reliable and desireable compact concealed carry pistol.

It is very similar to the Navy SEALS, Mk 24, Mod 0 pistol (minus the threaded barrel and 10rd elephant feet mags)

Just like the FN FNP 45 Tactical, this was HK's submission for the Joint Combat Pistol Program.

A little on the history of this piece of military history:

The Joint Combat Pistol was the name for a former US program for a new military sidearm to replace the M9 Pistol, extant from late 2005 to early 2006. The program was started in 2005 and run by USSOCOM. It is the result of a merger of two earlier programs, the army's Future Handgun System (FHS) and the Special Operations Forces Combat Pistol. Current requirements for the JCP include being chambered for caliber .45 ACP, having an integrated Picatinny rail, including day/night sights, and being capable of accepting a suppressor.

The venerable Beretta M9 pistol.

On March 10, 2006 a modification to the earlier request was made, changing the name from Joint Combat Pistol to Combat Pistol. The number of pistols sought was reduced from 645,000 handguns to 50,000. This effectively reverted to the SOF Combat Pistol program in terms of its scale, as the army dropped its participation. In the autumn of 2006, the Combat Pistol (CP) program was suspended indefinitely.

The notice starts: The USSOCOM intends to issue a solicitation to obtain commercially available non-developmental item (NDI) Joint Combat Pistol (JCP) system, Caliber .45 (ACP).

A large variety of .45 ACP pistols were entered into the competition. These include the

Introducing the Heckler and Kock HK 45 pistol, New in Box

This is one of those undiscovered gems. It possesses all the good qualities of the HK USP but is much better from ergonomics standpoint with a new slimmer trimmer grip and frame. If you like how the USP shoots, you'll definitely love the HK 45. Why?

-New Ergo grip makes it feel great

-10rd mag -- perfect for Kalifornia high capacity rules

-Rechargeable Night Sights (with flashlight charging)

-Standard picatinny rail allows for mounting lights and lasers

-O-ring system carry over from the HK Expert/Socom Mk23 -- makes this pistol extremely accurate

-Polygonal rifling: European philosophy -- allows for very long endurance in round counts (tens of thousands).

-V1 variant, double/single action with safety

-German Engineering. This is a must read if you have not read the design and torture test on pistol training website.

Originally designed for the American market, the USP (Universal Self-loading Pistol) has found international acceptance as an accurate and ultra-reliable handgun. Features favored by U.S. law enforcement and military users provided much of the design criteria for the USP. The controls are uniquely American, influenced by such famous designs as the Government Model 1911 pistol. All USPs use a fiber-reinforced polymer frame stiffened by stainless steel inserts at areas subject to stress and friction.

One of the most significant features of the USP is the mechanical recoil reduction system. This system is incorporated into the recoil spring assembly, located below the barrel and consists of a heavy, captive coil spring around the guide rod. Designed primarily to buffer the slide and barrel and reduce recoil effects on the pistol components, the system also lowers the recoil forces felt by the shooter up to 30%. The USP recoil reduction system is insensitive to ammunition types and does not require adjustment or maintenance. It functions effectively in all USP models.

Features:
Corrosion proof fiber-reinforced polymer frame
Polygonal bore profile for increased velocity, easier cleaning, and longer barrel life
Can be converted to any of nine trigger firing modes
Corrosion resistant “Hostile Environment” blued finish
Oversized trigger guard for use with gloves
One piece machined slide made from nitro-carburized steel
Universal mounting grooves for installing accessories
Ambidextrous magazine release lever
Extended slide release

If the pictures don't show up during the day, wait till the evening when the host is not so busy and you will be rewarded with some nice pictures I have taken.

Springfield Custom Shop Agency Professional: Railed version
This is a very special program that was set up for federal law enforcement agencies. It is a rigorous and scrutinized program that has produced less than 100 DEA Professionals. You have to be an active agent to get this pistol made for you by Springfield Custom Shop.
You must have a letterhead from your Supervisory/Commander Agent sent via teletype to Springfield to allow purchase of this pistol. You must be able to qualify to shoot this pistol in order to purchase this from the Springfield Custom shop. As of the last two years, all the DEA Pro's have been sequestered into collectors' hands. Few if any are available.

For your consideration is a Kalifornia Compliant HK USP Expert in 45 ACP with Tritium Front sight ($100)

The HK USP line has been around since the 80's. Its first version is the famous HK Mark 23 SOCOM in 45. From that design came the more civilized and practical line of USP -- Universal Self-loading Pistol.

USP's are known for it's ability for soft recoil and fast 2nd shots due to a dual recoil spring system.
The Expert line has some desirable features:

1) Longer barrel with longer sight radius
2) It has the unique o-ring system for barrel muzzle lockup
3) Polygonal 5.2 inch barrel for accuracy and consistent accuracy and durability
4) Match grade trigger that is adjustable. This is a unique feature of the Expert/Elite/Tactical USP line
5) The Match line is made in German - made only in small batches every few years.
6) This V1 version is not on the Kalif Roster list. It is no longer 'importable' to Kalif
7) Jarvis now makes a match barrel from drop in accuracy for lead boolits.

Here is an interesting read about the HK USP pistols. Very similar to the pistol.com read in this thread/ad about the HK45 line of pistol.

Why consider this pistol?

-HK Expert is the little hidden treasure in the world of more famous HK lines
-Tritium Front Sight - an extra nice feature ($100 extra)
-Ambidextrous Safeties
-Match grade Trigger (with set travel of trigger)
-This pistol is limited in supply
-Match Grade accuracy
-Comes with TWO 10rd Kalif compliant mags (Used mags but still very serviceable, purchased separately to make this a Kalif Kompliant pistol for transfer)
-Like NEW condition
-You can't wear this pistol out as many have tried!

This is my typical experience shooting the HK Expert -- whether in 45 or 40 Calibre configuration, this pistol is a very well kept secret. Extremely predictable in accuracy.

The HK Law Enforcement Modification (LEM trigger) Explained above.

The LEM explained in written terms -- made more sweet because Bruce Gray put personal attention to fit, finish and coated the mating surfaces for the sweetest LEM Trigger -- Sort of like Mercedes AMG -- Black -- an upgrade of an upgrade ...

With regards to the LEM, when the slide is racked on an HK LEM pistol, the hammer-spring (the heavy spring in the grip of the pistol that will ultimately drive the hammer forward) is compressed. The hammer however is not a solid hammer, but consists of a hammer and a cocking piece. So when the slide is racked, while the hammer spring is compressed, the hammer itself rests in the forward position. When the trigger is pulled, it is a light double action pull because you are "cocking" the hammer, but not against the weight of the hammer spring. Therefore, the trigger pull is light but it is double action. The reset is short, and you do not have to let the hammer return all the way to the forward position to discharge another round.

Like new, Heckler and Kock P2000SK in 9mm parabellum calibre, LEM, in black
Unique features:
Thorough rework via GrayGuns of Oregon

It has the special GrayGuns trigger feature of LEM (Law Enforcement Modification) trigger that is shorter reset than the conventional HK LEM.
What does that mean?

1) Crisp trigger let off and reset. Bruce at Grayguns coats the trigger engagement parts with Nickel Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). It's like rubbing two "ice moieties together" -- that's how slick this feels.

2) It has the Heinie Straight 8 night sights -- a vast improvement over conventional HK sights.

3) One Mag included.

4) This pistol is known for it's compact size but also display the ability to deliver full size performance -- namely accuracy that only comes from a larger 9mm pistol.

This pistol was intended for backup carry but because it's sooo beautiful and so rare in Kalif, I could not bear to holster this gem. Instead, I would like to find a good home for it in Kalif for someone who is an HK-product admirer.

This pistol will only hold it's value and appreciate with time due to labor and material costs of teutonic influence increasing (and the corrosive effects of inflation -- sadly).

This is a non roster pistol in Kalif

This is a new Glock 21 Generation 4 which means it has the shorter frame to accommodate normal and small handed shooters. It has grip inserts for those who have supra-human sized hands.

This pistol also has the new designed 'life-time' dual recoil spring.

This pistol also has the large Orange front night sight and a matching rear night sight from Trijicon- 2014.

It was intended as a backup/replacement to my carry Glock but because my original Glock is still runs like a top. Rather than leave this newer G21 sitting in the Armory, I decided to find this newer one a new home. I carry the original Glock in Marine environments due to Tenifer's inherent corrosion resistance. Tenifer is a nitro-carburization process that is also known as Melonite.

Up for consideration is an AR pistol in 556:

Land Warrior Research Corporation (Intl) LWRC PSD AR pistol:

This little pistol package is a rare combination - 10 inch barrel to harness the power of the 556 round and not blind you with beach ball blast of shorter barrel AR pistols. It's a special order from LWRC.

This PSD pistol offers incredible fire power in a tiny package! Smashing the paradigm that small close protection weapons be relegated to pistol-caliber submachine guns, the PSD brings the 5.56mm NATO round to bear on threats out to 300 meters! This means that personal security teams can reach farther and hit harder while maintaining the concealability and portability of the current, leading SMG.

It's an innovative piston powered rifle calibre pistol that is truly unique in Kalifornia due to the restrictive roster and the 10 inch package.

LWRC was one of the first to pioneer ultra reliable gas-piston operating system, offering the professional shooter never-before realized capabilities in one sweet little package.

In combination with this package is Trijicon's TriPower optic.

Trijicon's enhanced Reflex sights are the natural evolution in speed-with-precision shooting and true color target acquisition. These sights give you maximum accuracy and true-to-life targeting instantly without failure-prone batteries. TriPower model features an on-demand battery backup, uses most any industry standard 30mm red dot ring and requires two 3N batteries (included). Fully adjustable for windage and elevation these tritium sights are the perfect choice no matter what the lighting. Sights are covered under a 10 year limited warranty.

Tube Diameter: 30mm
Dot Size: Red Chevron Reticle, inverted V, base of V is 16.6 MOA at 100 meters, height is 14.4 MOA at 100 meters.
Mount: Uses any industry standard 30mm rings
Mode of Activation: Push button membrane switch

Battery Type and Number: Fiber optics for daytime use with On-call battery backup - 2 1/3N Batteries

FNP (NOT FNX) 45 ACP in FDE with J-point RMR 4MOA ($400) - carrying case ($200-400) with two barrels -- original factory barrel and brand new EFK barrel for Kalif compliance.

Two configurations required: One with no external safety and the other configuration will have an external safety.
The 'Combat Pistol System' is to consist of:
a Caliber .45 pistol (designed for A475 and AA18 rounds)
Magazines (standard and high-capacity);
Suppressor Attachment Kit
Holster
Magazine Holder (standard and high-capacity)
Cleaning Kit and Operator's Manual.

A large variety of .45 ACP pistols were entered into the competition. These include the

Important take home message. When the Joint Combat Pistol program ended, many manufacturers transferred that investment and technology to the civilian sector.
FN introduced this pistol as the FNP 45. This is different from the FNX 45. They are two different pistols. The FNP 45 has military history and pedigree because it was designed to shoot military high pressure rounds (not lower powered SAAMI spec rounds). Therefore it needs to be more durable and more stringent requirements for reliability and firings. To own one of these is to buy a piece of military history. This would be the one to collect as they are not made anymore.

Magazines -- negotiable with PM's or with phone discussion with me.

Special points: This is suppressor ready with Tritium Raised Suppressor Sights.
It is Kalif compliant with EFK Stainless Steel barrel

This is a Slick Nowlin Springfield Custom Shop Professional for sale

Light usage, perfect for those who need an Early, Nowlin barrel type 1911. It is one of the early versions.
Shiny Sheen Walter Birdsong Black T finish
Series 2000: CRG 20xx (made 13 years ago -- 2003)

Why choose this slick Pro with the Nowlin?

1) Nowlin is renown for it's ability to shoot both jacketed and lead bullets well. I personally shoot the Nowlin because of this. Nowlin is one of the original manufacturer to use EDM (electric discharge machining).

2) Nowlin pioneered EDM for pistol barrels back in the late 80's. I bought a Nowlin barrel during that time and it has performed well. The basic EDM process is really quite simple. An electrical spark is created between an electrode and a workpiece. Electric Discharge Machining: The spark is visible evidence of the flow of electricity. This electric spark produces intense heat with temperatures reaching 8000 to 12000 degrees Celsius, melting almost anything. The spark is very carefully controlled and localized so that it only affects the surface of the material. The EDM process usually does not affect the heat treat below the surface.

3) If you need a precisely made pistol with ability to fit every 1911 holster made and also appreciate the classic styling -- this is it!

Up for sale is a Like New HK VP9 pistol in 9mm parabellum.
I consider this the finest striker fired 9mm pistol to date.
Best ergonomics, utterly realiable, made by the legendary arms maker of Obendorf, German.

This pistol:
MADE in Germany
Like NEW
Best Trigger out of the Batch of VP9s I had ... I picked this one for myself

This is James Bond's new pistol:

kRnXe395ghE

The VP9 pistol is striker-fired and features a Picatinny rail. The pistol took over 4 years of design, testing and development. HK is one of the last manufacturers to introduce a polymer framed striker fired pistol to market. It has learned from everyone else's mistakes and triumphs. It arguably is the best striker fired pistol on the market at this time. It's so good, James Bond even adopted it ...:D

The controls on the VP9 are ambidextrous, achieved through a dual paddle-style magazine release on the trigger guard, and an extended slide release lever on the right side of the firearm.

The pistol has a loaded chamber indicator in the form of the extractor protruding with a red mark when a round has been chambered. The position of the firing pin can be seen through a hole in the rear of the slide which serves as an indicator of whether the striker is cocked or not.

For your consideration is a Kalifornia Compliant HK USP Expert in 40 S&W with the soft cordura case (highly collectible and no longer supplied by HK).

-HK Expert is the little treasure hidden in the world of more famous HK lines
-This pistol is limited in supply and not available for shipment to Kali due to the roster list only allowing the V9 version (never seen one).
-Comes with the 10rd Kalif compliant mag (jet funnel is useless in Kalif)
-Has the $400 soft HK factory, cordura black carry case.
-You can't wear this pistol out as many have tried!

This is my typical experience shooting the HK Expert -- whether in 45 or 40 Calibre configuration, this pistol is a very well kept secret. Extremely predictable in accuracy.

FNP (NOT FNX) 45 ACP in FDE without the RMR placed yet - carrying case ($200-400) with two barrels -- original factory barrel and brand new EFK barrel for Kalif compliance.

Two configurations required: One with no external safety and the other configuration will have an external safety.
The 'Combat Pistol System' is to consist of:
a Caliber .45 pistol (designed for A475 and AA18 rounds)
Magazines (standard and high-capacity);
Suppressor Attachment Kit
Holster
Magazine Holder (standard and high-capacity)
Cleaning Kit and Operator's Manual.

A large variety of .45 ACP pistols were entered into the competition. These include the

Pictured is a demo barrel but this pistol will come with a NEW EFK after market barrel and also the Factory Barrel from FN.

Therefore it needs to be more durable and undergo more stringent construction requirements for reliability and firings.

Original FNP 45 barrel
Special Cordura FDE carrying case

This is a entertaining video of the commercial FNX Tactical version.

This is a SPECIAL shooter HK P7 PSP. This pistol started life in Germany as a Federal Police (Bundespolizei) sidearm. Still fully serviceable as a combat pistol.

Some of the neat things about the P7 PSP

9. European Heal mag release design to retain the exhausted mag during reload.

10. Everyone wants to be a little 'Hans Gruber' some time, right?

2. 3.5-4 pound crisp trigger pull - one of the best German production trigger out there. It's very crisp 'break' like the single action trigger of the venerable 1911.

3. Gas - delayed recoil system - it likes the high pressure high velocity 9mm parabellum loads like the ol' German Geco BAT loads (solid copper/hypervelocity rounds).

7. Original polygonal rifling - something uniquely German from decades ago to take advantage of hammer forging and allow a gentle grab and spin of the bullet.

Designed to compete with other "wonder 9" movement from Europe.

10. Unique Feeding Geometry: the P7 pistol system has almost an in-line perpendicular cartridge feeding into the barrel chamber axis 'geometry' to allow straight forward entry rather than the typical 'ramp' of other self loading pistols. This translates into positive, efficient feeding and less distortion of hollowpoint bullets and thus - less chance of 'jamming' and better retention of bullet concentricity for greater accuracy. Very unique and ahead of it's time design.

For your consideration is a Kalifornia Compliant HK USP Expert in 9mm Parabellum with the soft cordura case (highly collectible and no longer supplied by HK).

6) Off the Kalif Roster list.

-HK Expert is the little treasure hidden in the world of more famous HK lines
-This pistol is limited in supply and NOT on Roster list for shipment into Kalif
-Comes with JET Funnel
-Mags are negotiable
-HK factoryHard case
-Manual
-HK Lock
-Spare o-rings
-You can't wear this pistol out as many have tried!

This is my typical experience shooting the HK Expert; this pistol is a very well kept secret. Extremely predictable in accuracy.

Light used P226 9mm pistol, NS and 2 factory mags

The P226 was designed for entry into the XM9 Service Pistol Trials (see also Joint Service Small Arms Program) that were held by the US Army in 1984 on behalf of the US armed forces to find a replacement for the M1911A1. Only the Beretta 92F and the SIG P226 satisfactorily completed the trials. According to a GAO report, Beretta was awarded the M9 contract for the 92F due to a lower total package price. The P226 cost less per pistol than the 92F, but SIG's package price with magazines and spare parts was higher than Beretta's. The Navy SEALs, however, later chose to adopt the P226.

The slide of the pre-1996 P226 was a heavy gauge, mill finished sheet metal stamping with a welded on nose section incorporating an internal barrel bushing. The breech block portion was a machined insert attached to the slide by means of brazing and a roll pin visible from either side. Since 1996, production has shifted to CNC machining and the slide is now milled from a single piece of stainless steel. Therefore, the current standard P226 has a Nitron coated, stainless steel slide. This resulted in a stronger slide, which was necessary to chamber the more powerful .40 S&W and .357 SIG cartridges. The frame of most models is made from hard anodized aluminum alloy.

Choose Wisely -- Calgunner. Choose Detroit ...

puo1Enh9h5k

This is a Shooter's Collector's Grade Springfield Professional -- for sale. This 1911 is rare and unique. I will tell you why and I hope I can express the exquisite beauty and fitment quality that makes this pistol special.

I had a discussion with a fellow Calgunner when I was in OC. He is a very experienced collector and an aficionado for high end firearms. He asked me about getting an 'older' Professional with the Nowlin barrel. He asked me about the advantages of the older Pro's.

I will share my info that we discussed.

Why get this older ... CRG 1xxx serial number Professional?

1) This was made at the time when Pro's were made by a single gunsmith and this offers the opportunity to reflect his artistry and style in building Pro's. He is likely to be a rare Pistolsmith Guild member.

2) The 'intangibles' -- well after owning and handling dozens of Pro's over the decade, I've learned a lot about Pro's. They are not created equal -- some are actually better than others. If you are a newbie to Pro's you will probably not notice any difference between this one and a NIB one. The fitment on this pistol is different because the parts that intercalate with each other are 'fitted' just right. How the slide glides over the frame; how the barrel locks up with cycling and how it goes through the properly timed sequence of events just feels like a finely made Swiss watch. The smoothness in lockup with regards to the last two millimeters of slide travel becomes evident after handling this pistol.

3) Today's Pro's are made by team effort: To mass produce Pro's, Springfield set up an assembly line: the same guy fits the barrel on all Pro's in his pile and the next guy will fit something else like the grip safety. Pistols lose 'character' when that happens. You are paying custom pistol prices - why not get a 'custom' pistol?

4) Look carefully at the photo's I have provided. You will notice this Professional has a little target on Springfield Custom target paper that was 'test fired.' The person who does this 'touch' is the Master Gunsmith himself, Dave Williams - the Director of Custom Shop.

5) Though Springfield Custom will not admit it, I surmise Dave Williams personally built this pistol. When Dave built my custom (and expensive custom PPC off-roster 1911 pistol), he supplied the target he tested with my pistol. This PPC pistol target gives you the evidence that Dave test fired this Pro before boxing it up and shipping it out. My PPC target picture is shown here to compare with the test target of this Pro.

6) Lastly, but importantly, this pistol is built to mechanically correctness. What does this mean? This is the only Pro that I have inspected which has the correct and balance barrel and slide hood engagement of the lugs. It possesses perfectly even wear on both lugs. I provide the two pictures here to show this. I find that most 1911's engage one or the other lug but not both. This makes this pistol not only well built but created to mechanically correctness.

7) The only way to appreciate this pistol is to come up with the money and purchase the best example of the Pro ... made the way it was suppose to be made by the Master Gunsmith and this is something that is rare, the perfect specimen of what a Pro should be (hand selected amongst dozens of Pro's).

Here are the two above mentioned pictures that illustrate my explanation of the barrel and slide lug engagement -- balanced and very light wear signifying very few rounds (200).

This barrel is slightly longer than other Pro's and the Nowlin Barrel hood is not BirdSong Black T'd. Present ones will have Black T on the hood.

This CRG 1xxx series Professional has the earlier 'shinier' Black T that many collectors seek and pay a premium to acquire. It also has the 'square' lower frame dust cover.

This Pistol comes with the hard plastic case, certificate of authenticity, three original magazines and the best fitment seen in any Pro's thus far.

This is not the right Pro for most people, it's intended for the Aficionado of 1911's and Professionals. If you want a collector's grade Pro to shoot and not 'save' in the safe, this is for you. It's price right but priced high.

I'm asking $4988 FTF by PPT.

Truly a Collector's Springfield Professional -- Special Edition with Dawson Rail.

This is the Exception to the rule. As you know as policy, Springfield Custom will not deviate from Production Builds.
However, Dave Williams, director of Springfield Custom Shop, has a 'soft' spot for Law Enforcement -- specifically Federal Law Enforcement in the Pacific Northwest.
The Joint Federal Task Force in the Pacific NorthWest needed Professionals that 'operators' could use. Back then, the Railed Pro -- aka 'Operator' was not available. Dave Williams built some Pro's specifically with Dawson Rails.

Dawson rails allows usage of regular 1911 holsters (for investigations and under cover duties) but when the situation demands going to 'Operator' Mode, this 1911 can be quickly equipped with a tactical light or laser combination.

This is the only Professional (Roll Marked 'Professional') that has a rail outside of Federal Government Property and Agency. You must be an FBI agent tasked on HRT or SWAT to be assigned these pistols and these are gov't property.

This is the opportunity to buy 'arguably' the very best Combat/Precision 1911 made by the Springfield Custom Shop.

Presented here is 2 NIB Consecutive Serial Numbered Railed Professional

CRG series serial numbers in the early 4xxx.
This was a 36 month wait to obtain these coveted beauties.

Those who know 1911's, know this is a terrific pistol.
Comes with Certificate of Authenticity
6 factory mags
Manual
Hard factory Box

This posting is to appear to those shooters who have great taste and are selective of what they want. Perfect combination or gift to self and someone you care: Husband/Wife, Father/Son, Sibling/Sibling combination.

Excerpts from American Handgunner Magazine that highlighted the new G-man 1911 combat pistol:

"Consider the features on the winning pistol and see if it doesn't read like a standard IPSC pistol's pedigree: Novak tritium sights, Nowlin match barrel, Wilson extractor, Kings combat trigger, Wilson ambi thumb safety, Wolff springs, S&A mag funnel hand checkered and custom blended to the frame, Springfield Custom "Delta" hammer, McCormick sear, 20 lpi front strap checkering, lowered and flared ejection port, polished feedramp, Springfield Custom beavertail grip safety and Black T finish."

"[During trials] The FBI brought in SWAT-certified agents from all over the country to shoot the guns to "see if Mikey likes it." The agents shot a specified course of fire consisting of 250 rounds, 150 of which were freestyle in different positions, strong and weak hand, over barricades, prone, kneeling, whatever. The last 100 rounds were shot in two repetitions of a 50 round course similar to an IPSC standard exercise.

At the end of the day, the five guns had shot a total of nearly 50,000 rounds between them, been dropped, thrown, examined under a microscope and passed through innumerable hands. "The original military test was only 6,000 rounds when they adopted the 1911. No one has ever tested a 1911 like this. This is the toughest test the government has probably ever conducted for any gun, other than maybe a machinegun" [Dave] Williams commented."

6) Not on Kalif Roster list.

-HK Expert is the little treasure hidden in the world of more famous HK lines
-This pistol is limited in supply and NOT on Roster list for shipment into Kalif
-Comes with JET Funnel
-Mags are negotiable
-HK factoryHard case
-Manual
-HK Lock
-Spare o-rings
-You can't wear this pistol out as many have tried!

This is my typical experience shooting the HK Expert; this pistol is a very well kept secret. Extremely predictable in accuracy.

Here is a rarely seen pistol ... Custom 1911 made by Bruce Gray from GrayGuns of Oregon (formerly from the Sac Area). Bruce is Rare these days and having this custom build from him is a real treat.

Bruce Gray is an excellent gunsmith known for HK and Sig rework -- especially his trigger work.

He rarely builds 1911s but this one is a real treat and made for IDPA competition:
Novak and front high visibility sights
Wilson Match Barrel
Fitted parts including frame to slide
Fitted ambidextrous safety
30 LPI checkering
Cocobolo grips

Ransome Rest tested at 25yrds for proof of precision fitment.

Asking $4580 for this rare gem that is not available nationally and especially in Kalif.
This is the perfect IDPA pistol and if you shoot your collector, this would be it.

Hecker and Koch, original roller lock pistol -- P9s in 9mm

The HK P9 is a semi-automatic pistol from Heckler & Koch in 9×19mm Parabellum and the first to use a variation of H&K's roller delayed blowback system in a pistol format and polygonal rifling now common in H&K designs. This design began around 1965 and production ran between 1969 and 1978. The vast majority were made in traditional double action version, the P9S (the S standing for Spannabzug, or "double-action trigger").

The P9 is a roller-delayed pistol manufactured from a stamped steel main frame and a polymer trigger guard. The stamped steel slide contains machined internal parts including a polygonally rifled barrel. High-profile fixed sights are fitted with two red rectangles on the rear sight and a white stripe on the drift adjustable front blade sight. Vertical zeroing is accomplished by fitting front sights of a different height.

The P9S was adopted by the US Navy for use with a sound suppressor. The fixed barrel of the P9S allows the pistol to operate reliably with the suppressor attached without requiring the recoil booster.

The P9S trigger operates as a traditional double action. There is a lever on the left side of the pistol grip to both decock a cocked hammer or to manually re-cock it for a single action first shot. A further function of the decocking lever is to release the slide stop. The hammer is concealed within the slide with a protruding pin at the rear of the slide as a cocking indicator. The operating spring surrounds the barrel, allowing for a lower bore axis than pistols such as John Browning's M1911 that have the operating spring below the barrel. A manual firing-pin safety is located at the left rear of the slide; putting it in the down position locks the firing pin and flipping it up to level position unlocks it.

Typical of European designs of that era, the magazine release is heel-mounted and the magazine is single column.

Releasing Springfield Custom Shop Professional 1911 pistols.
I have a lot of these Pistols stored away in our armory vault as investments. I have many railed Professionals (aka Operator versions) and some "slick" versions -- which should fit all 1911 holsters. You can have your choice when you PM me.

CRG series serial numbers.

Those who know 1911's, know this is a terrific pistol. Some are great early productions and some are recent productions.
Comes with Certificate of Authenticity
Mag count can vary as each pistol came with different counts (bought out some SWAT operators and collectors -- due to long kindled relationships)

This is a file representation. Some of these Pros (railed and slicks) have been sold already. Contact me if you want to get yours delivered ppt with your local gun shop.

I really believe in these 1911's and invested my spare pennies into these. I'm one of the end users who loves these pistols. If you handle and shoot one, you will be a convert also. Those that I've taken to the range to 'run' one of these hand-made 1911 from an American Pistol Guild Member of the Springfield Custom shop have all bought one or two. They are that good! The Pistolsmith Guild is a very small fraternity with very notable pistol makers.

After talking with Dave Williams, there is $500 price increase across the Springfield Custom shop. The skilled elves get a raise every once in a while.
Professionals now have a wait time of over 2yrs due to demand, popularity and resources to make these phenomenal 1911s.

Feel free to PM me with questions and availability.

I also have a collection of sequential Serial numbers -- this is great for those who want two from the same run: Husband/Wife combo, Father/Son, Sibling/Sibling ... etc to have consecutive sequential serial numbers. Slightly higher cost for this set.

Thanks for looking.

Dave is holding a very RARE HRT Professional that exists outside the FBI/US Government.
After usage, the HRT Pros must be destroyed ... Dave actually sheds a tear when he cuts them in half at the Custom Shop.
