Looks like lupua bullets and brass went up around 20%!

CCI br2 primers went up too! actually everything went up.

Glad I got in on a GB for 2k scenars a while ago. Should've got double that! Oh well, nobody ever said this hobby was cheap. That makes the 168's from Nosler look very attractive!

i've been looking at the 168 noslers again. i might shoot these the whole year. works well for me.

i might just hold on to my scenars and wait like another year, and let it go up another 20%. never knew you can flip reloading stuff. seems like a sure investment nowadays.

i've been reloading .308 match ammo for 40cents/each with my nosler boat tails. i might just stick with them. they have been doing the job well for me anyways. lupua stuff is just getting rediculous.

For most of the matches around here, the 168's will work just fine. Unless your consistently shooting past 600 or so, the difference between them and the scenars isn't much...except the price!

20% is a lot! I should have loaded up on .338 Lapua brass :( Oh well.. no sense in rushing now..

Actually.. I did load up on 6.5 Grendel rass though..

Glad I bought my brass when I did. They went up almost $6 per 100.

Give the 155 Palma SMK a try...those fly pretty well also. We just did a group buy up here for Sierras and I think it came out to 107.00 a box of 175SMKs in your hands.

I am curious to see what 2008 prices are for Sierras.

Glad to hear that.
I picked up a 500ct box of moly 155 SMK's for $50 from a buddy.
I have been shooting them up with great results.

If you can get them going fast enough they will make 1K.

I load up 168s and 155s when i shoot at places that do not require going past 600yards.

Please realize that moly coating lets you burn more powder at lower pressures!
My primers are telling me to stop at 46.5gr of varget which gave me 2940fps in my 26" barrel.
The 47.0gr series almost all had some serious flattening of the primers and a few ejector swipes.
