I have an Albanian SKS on it's way to me and the stock is VERY rough. Now I don't want to refinish it in any way, but I sure wouldn't mind getting my hands on a nice wood stock from another one that I could pretty up.

Anybody?

sorry to say but theoretically there are less albanian sks stocks than there are albanian sks since the albanians used some of their stocks to repair chinese sks by chopping off the front couple inches i wish you luck in your quest

Like your shirt said when I first met you.

But if I can find one in TX I'll let you know. I will be hitting the mom and pop stores pretty hard. For you...I make special price. I wouldn't get my hopes up though. As bohoki said...hard to find. I saw one on GB before the panic...sold for a cool $150. Ouchies.

But try out a WTB ad on the SKSforums you might have better luck. That's were all the real collectors have and from time to time they have some SKS stocks up for grabs.

Typical Liberal scum. Throw him an SKS EBT card and he doesn't even say thank you. What a bum. :chris:

I guess you got one. I bought a lot of 20 sks stocks on ebay a while back. I only wanted one of the chinese ones, some are supposed to be albanian. Let me know if you still need one.

Blitz, would you be interested in selling the rough stock? I'd be up for refinishing it if you weren't going to keep it

Having an Albanian SKS is like having a membership in an exclusive club that only the cool kids are allowed to get into. I found mine in a dumpster on skid row while I was scavenging for cans and foraging for my local soup group.

Sorry, but I plan on refinishing the new one and leaving the original stock, which is numbered to the rifle, alone to preserve the history.
