Just went end of june good time-Weapon check was 5 seconds and uneventful-I removed my bb in Pahrump and used standard mags some ca guys used magnets-people did smuggle in bimetal ammo which is not hard to do but they make you sign you will be financialy responsible for damage to there steel targets even if by richocet. The range guys were awesome Any other questions feel free to post or pm.

Did they check your trigger pull or inspect ammo?

the standard check in process-
Show up at the queue with an unloaded firearm, unloaded magazine and a box of what you will be shooting.

They then
Clear the firearm to verify that it is unloaded.
Drop a rod in the barrel to verify no obstructions
dry press a few shots - trigger break and rest are working
check the function of the safety

verify the sling is secure on long guns
verify the holster is OK for handguns- no trigger/holster contact

a fairly simply process

They do inspect the ammo-check it with a magnet-but there was bimetal that made it to the range as they check only a small quantity-you do have to sign a waiver that you will follow there rules or face financial responsibilty for injury or damage.
