Is there a RPK flat that will work for a Yugo m72? Found the NDS 9, but they don't have any. Thought about getting the AKparts one for the bulged front trunion. But then I would have to weld in all the underfolder holes. Basicly I need this........................

.................. but without all the other holes.

Help?

Those Yugo flats are crap; the FCG holes are too high. Plus you would need a modified jig to keep the proper dimensions.

I had the same problem. NDS-9 sold out. Nodak said that NDS-5 was the same receiver but had the locking pin hole for the cover. The hole was because the army wanted to lock the cover on so the cover would not pop off when gave the extra wallup with a rifle gernade.

You can see extra hole right side larger then left side. Right side back end

Left side back end NDS-5

Got mine and threw the dross program. 1.6 thick receiver is very cool on the NDS-5 and as soon as I can I will get NDS-3-BB a 1.6 thick for a Romy G kits.

The Yugo flat you posted is a mess, dont bother, they're not even any good for the rifle they are intended for. If you desire a non papered gun go with the Coldsteel blank Wayoutwest linked you to, I've built using their blanks and they are pretty nice. If I were you I'd just get on the list for the next run of Nodaks, it will be much easier.

I don't have any real problems with paper trails, its the fact that there is no definite date on the next release. When build parties come up and I don't have receivers, me no like that. I'm pretty sure I'm going to get a blank since I nave to ream noles in a flat anyway. Might as well just drill the entire thing.
