OUTRAGE OF THE WEEK!

An Inane Statement: This week's outrage comes courtesy of MSNBC's "Morning Joe" show co-host Mika Brzezinski, who apparently has a very hard time laying aside her anti-gun sentiments, even when confronted with the truth.

WTF do you expect out of PMSNBC? They're farther to the left than CNN!

The problem with all of those people sitting in their ivory towers in NYC is that they have been inundated with the "Guns are bad" mentality that pervades that part of the US. They go to J-School with the rest of the left-wing J-School types, and the far-left J-School teachers.

I believe his point is that liberals and conservatives can be pigheaded and ignore facts and information.

Nonetheless, their opinion is wrong.

Generally Conservatives have come to their notions through careful thought and analysis of facts, not knee-jerk emotional decisions like Liberals do.

:rofl2::rofl2::rofl2::rofl2:

after watching the last decade, I think most conservatives would sell their daughters into slavery if the screamer on AM hate radio told them it would protect them from terrorists or "liberals" for that matter....

Thanks for pulling that Left-Wing cartoon out of your *** with over 4-year-old quotes. If you do a thorough analysis of Operation Iraqi Freedom, You'll see that all but O'Reilly's quotes were right on the mark. If it wasn't for the Lamestream Media not reporting any of the successes, and treating this war like Vietnam with a daily American body count, you wouldn't see all of the protesting.

I could take each one of what the anti-war lefties are calling lies by the administration, and point out the facts which completely refute their allegations. I don't, because this is not the place to do it.

Yes I do agree with you guys that both conservatives and liberals fudge with the media, but really cartoon is misleading itself. For example that cartoon tries to portray only the conservatives say such stupid things, but lo and behold it has liberal pundits in the picture. Chris Matthews is a self-announced Democrat (see political career) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Matthews and he is anti-gun http://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/scott-whitlock/2007/11/26/matthews-liberal-media-should-grill-crazy-huckabee-views

This cartoon doesn't seem any different from all the anti-gunners tactics about fudging the facts about guns.

In general, Liberals believe that reasoned discussion works with others because it works on them. That is not always true.

I would like to know if people like her would still feel the same way if they were in a situation where their family was a victim of a random crime. Would they want to have someone there to help? Or would they still rely on the police providing they can even get to a phone.

People like her have security guards and live in ivory towers so she has little to fear, or so she believes.

I would like to know if people like her would still feel the same way if they were in a situation where their family was a victim of a random crime. Would they want to have someone there to help? Or would they still rely on the police providing they can even get to a phone.

People who are Full of EGO and Ignorant will dismiss the obvious with snide comments and statements to make them look like they are right, because they cannot accept the truth. Their EGO's blind them into thinking that their viewpoint is the only right viewpoint and opinion and everyone else's is unacceptable.

She is full of EGO and Empty of any Brains.

Verbatim quotes from when Clinton was committing troops to Bosnia:

"You can support the troops but not the president."
---Rep Tom Delay (R-TX)

"Well, I just think it's a bad idea. What's going to happen is they're going to be over there for 10, 15, maybe 20 years."
---Joe Scarborough (R-FL)

"Explain to the mothers and fathers of American servicemen that may come home in body bags why their son or daughter have to give up their life?"
---Sean Hannity, Fox News, 4/6/99

"[The] President . . . is once again releasing American military might on a foreign country with an ill-defined objective and no exit strategy. He has yet to tell the Congress how much this operation will cost. And he has not informed our nation's armed forces about how long they will be away from home. These strikes do not make for a sound foreign policy."
---Sen Rick Santorum (R-PA)

"American foreign policy is now one huge big mystery. Simply put, the administration is trying to lead the world with a feel-good foreign policy."
---Rep Tom Delay (R-TX)

"If we are going to commit American troops, we must be certain the y have a clear mission, an achievable goal and an exit strategy."
---Karen Hughes, speaking on behalf of George W Bush

"I had doubts about the bombing campaign from the beginning . . . I didn't think we had done enough in the diplomatic area."
---Senator Trent Lott (R-MS)

"I cannot support a failed foreign policy. History teaches us that it is often easier to make war than peace. This administration is just learning that lesson right now. The President began this mission with very vague objectives and lots of unanswered questions. A month later, these questions are still unanswered. There are no clarified rules of engagement. There is no timetable. There is no legitimate definition of victory. There is no contingency plan for mission creep. There is no clear funding program. There is no agenda to bolster our over-extended military. There is no explanation defining what vital national interests are at stake. There was no strategic plan for war when the President started this thing, and there still is no plan today"
-Rep Tom Delay (R-TX)

"Victory means exit strategy, and it's important for the President to explain to us what the exit strategy is."
-Governor George W Bush (R-TX)
