Lets see, I bought a Bushy from you(CWR) in Nov. or Dec. '99 at the San Mateo show and picked it up at the San Jose show. Then you were at SJ and CP shows in Y2K. I just don't remember exactly when you shut down CWRs and shipped out overseas. :cool2: :p

That might reroute alot of business (especially transfers) from friendly FFL's here in the Bay Area. On the flipside though, adding another OLL friendly FFL to the mix might bring the cost of transfers back to where they should be.;)
I'm all for it. My visa is already burning a hole in my pocket  LOL.

No signs yet.

He was in that Palm Shopping center on the West side of the road. Suite G, behind one of the restaurants (Northern), if your looking from the street.

I pulled up to the front of the suite on my first try. But, I never got off the bike. Mirrored glass on the store front windows, so you couldn't see in. I wasn't sure if I was at the right place...

I left the shopping center to look up and down the street for a sign or another shopping center. I rode my bike up to Baseline to see if there was another shopping center. But it's the only shopping center between 5th street & Baseline. So, I went back to the original suite and opened the door to see all the EBR goodies as I walked in.

Pirate,
I'm very happy to see you opening a retail store in So Cal. I bought my first OLL lower from you at a gunshow and picked it up at your house. The only thing that stopped me from buying more was when you went to transfer dealers only and no longer did the DROS yourselves. That was simply too big of a headache and inflated prices by putting too many fingers in the pot.
I always need lowers. But I'll only buy them from stores that actually stock them.

You will be getting alot of my future business with your new store.

If you had said 6.7 or 6.9, that could be an easily understood typo, but when you say 6.5, well, there actually IS an AR cartridge in 6.5 caliber and it really WOULD be expensive to buy a Mini14 in 6.5.
It would be around $1500.

For that kind of money, I would just build an AR... ;)

CWS has the best CS I have come across I bough an AZEX great gun but the company owner is a piece of sht. Had a problem with the rifle CWS simply said "we will take care of it". I will be referring friends and buying all my future guns there, starting with my Saiga.

Hello, I am thinking about making the drive to check out your AZEX rifles. I understand that prices are different for online, shows, and the shop. Are your AZEXs that much more than the online price of $695, if at all? Is the store in full motion yet or should I call and make an appointment to check out what you are offering? Thanks.....

We are out of AZEX right now.......plus it will be several wks for any more if any show up.....

Our nxt line-up of nicer AKs will be the Lancasters.....the store is in full swing......jsut not open most wkends cause we are at Gun Shows.....we are training up other crews.....;)

Lancasters should fall in the 630-699 price range.....they were rated the number one AK rifle built in the US....

Great, I was looking at Lancaster in addition to the AZEX and Vector. I also hope to check out what you have at the show in Del Mar next weekend if you are going to be there. Thanks.

Just for my clarification....if I go to the Highland store and make a purchase, does it have to be shipped to an FFL? Does the Highland store have an FFL? Thanks a ton.

I live in the High Desert and this shop is close to me. Thanks.

Well me and a friend showed up yesterday and I was amazed at all the stuff you guys have. My only bummer was the young lady, not sure what her name was totally got me all psyched up and totally let me down. LOL

I came into to even see if you had the GSG-5 in stock, and shes like yea right there, amazed I was totally shocked, I was like ILL TAKE IT! Then the bad news, it was the owners and just on display to tease people like me. JK

She was very knowledgable and very helpful, you guys have a great staff over there. I was impressed and I didnt even buy anything.

Thanks

Hi all,

I went to CWS for the first time ever and met a nice, knowledgeable young man named Sal. He was very helpful answering my questions about the various black rifles, AKs, and ammunition. Sal was very polite and patient while answering all of my questions (and I asked quite a few).

The selection at the store is quite good for its size. From the pics, I imagined I would be seeing a large storefront. Regardless, their inventory matches those of larger stores (if you like black rifles, AKs, and M1As).

I will definitely be giving them my business when it comes time to buy an upper for my completed AR lower.

Thanks again, Sal. It was nice dealing with you today.

If it's the Sal I think it is, he goes by the username 'Sal' here on Calguns. ;)

Yeah, he told me his name was Sal on this website too. He is a knowledgeable gun guy and went the extra mile to make me feel welcome in the store. I'll bring some more of my business soon.

Yea, Sal is a good guy. He has a unique collection of firearms and has a knack for gunsmithing.

He was at the actual Highland store? If so, that is a long commute from his place. lol

I thought he just did the gun shows.
