Whats this about vouchers for the lead free ammo? Im not gifted enough to exactly understand how this is supposed the vouchers are supposed to work, can someone please explain?

EDIT..
Actually, upon further reading, the question should be:

How can we ensure there is funding avalible for the lead free ammo for hunters program?

Call DFG. Then post the answers so that the rest of us will know.

You can't shoot lead in the affected areas. Are you casting something other than lead? If so, what? I wonder what we can use to cast bullets for muzzleloaders for hunting in these areas?

The Law says "CENTERFIRE", since a muzzleloader or a 1863 SHARPS is not a
centerfire, you are within the law by shooting lead in it, wheuther a in-line is a "centerfire" since it uses a primer, i don't know-but a percussion cap gun or flintlock would be OK.

Yep thats whats so good about muzzle loaders. I can still go to anybody who sells them. Look at them and take out the cash and take home the firearm. Nothing is better than shooting a 50 caliber or bigger without having the feds look at you. One of these days they are going to say wow i cant believe we did not see that.

SHHHHHHHHHHHH! "They" just changed the law to include rimfires. Maybe "they" forgot to include bp this time. Let's drop this so, "they" don't get any new ideas.

The Sacramento Bee article said that both rimfire and BP were added, so all of guys that weren't concerned about this ban since it wouldn't affect them ended up fu**ed with the rest of us.

Does it only ban hunting with, and not shooting in general? That's the way I read it.

Clearly, we'll have to start ordering bulk ore from here:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000796XXM/ref=pd_luc_000031592402917B000796XXM

Or even cheaper from here:

...to process for casting bullets. Bulk purchase anyone?

Good question
Will it still be legal to just go shooting out on BLM land or is all lead ammo banned for ANY purpose in condor range?

Why is it turkey vultures aren't dying of lead poisoning too?

I don't cast (yet?) but I'm down for a GB. I wonder how much the hazmat fee is... :D
