If and when I get back into long range shooting, I'm fairly certain I will be purchasing an M14/M1A and dropping it into a JAE-100 as well :) Couple that with a ROMAK 3/PSL and that will be 2 fun long range rifles that may not be 1/4 MOA tack drivers, but they should be a real hoot to shoot!

Good luck on the M1A project, I can't wait to see it when it's completed!

Since you ordered the SSS trigger for your Savage, you could have asked Lisa for their replacement larger bolt handle. It gives you more leverage and makes the bolt easier to cycle.

The top two are made by Fred and the bottom two are OEM:
