Do you have a Yugo? If it is check you gas cutoff for the grenade launcher

Same thing happened to me.. it was the gas valve :D

If the valve actually leaks (is corroded or whatever), there are a couple places that make stainless replacement valves. Like:

So i never knew about the grenade launcher mode, i just took out the valve cleaned it and made sure it was correctly aligned. So now i have the gas shutoff button turned all the way to the right, if this doesn't work i'm gonna get a new gas valve. Thanks fellas:D

If you have it in "grenade mode" you will not be able to use the regular sights...

kind of off topic.

If you put the valve in "grenade mode" are supposed to be able to also slide it down toward the shooter?

No, sliding it back will allow the spring/button to pop out!
