Makes it faster to operate with your weak hand, and it looks cool!

Thats decent.
Is this something youve made?
How about bringing it all the way over with a handle on the right side, kinda like a G3 or something.

Started out intending to make the handle come under the barrel, and out the left side... in mock-ups I found that the forearm was too short and shallow- you kinda kept hitting your thumb on it. I also looked at making it like the Galil, out the top on right side, but that's still kinda hard to reach with the front hand... although in the configuration shown, even with a deep notch, the front sight is about 50% occluded. I may go back to the Galil style handle.

I also notice a decrease in what little muzzle rise the gun did generate... a little bit of mass on top of the gun moving opposite and above to the projectile... seems to work. I'm real fast on a trigger- I was clocked at an IPSC match doing 4.8 rounds per second. I can light off double taps that make you ask, "was that two shots?" Anyway...yesterday at 100yds I was DTing this gun, and getting 2 hits within 6 inches of each other.

it looks liek you could have continued the rear hook straight up like a galil as you said i wouldnt mind having a cut stock and a bottom cocking lever like that one 45 sub-gun that i cannto seem to remember the name as to dump that gas that makes a mess on my stock liner

You have too much time on your hands.
Do you notice the top piece moving in your sight picture as you fire, or does recoil and blast make it not so appearant?

This gun has no muzzle jump during firing... I can see the charger flash back and forth- but it's really fast.

The only thing is- that if it's a wrap aroiund arangement, like it's shown, dis/ and assembly is not so quick- you gotta put handguard on first, and sideways. then install op rod/charge handle, Then screw on gas block, then roll handgueard over. Another reason why I think I'll cut it to be like a galil.

A lefty with a 3 point sling will really appreciate this mod- there's no charge handle poking him in the gut.

You just answered my next question...
