From what i understand yes, because it modifies the trigger, which is illegal

I dont think it modifies the trigger so much as acuates it. Not sure if this classifies as far as PRk standards. Maybe someone else who slept at a Holiday Inn last night will chime in.

They have a BATF letter stating it is considered a semi automatic rifle. It's from Washington D.C. though.

They have a kit for 2 AK47's, and another kit for pellet guns. I would love to have one of these.

This type of device could be argued by a DA to constitute possession of a "multi-burst trigger activator" which is a felony in CA. I wouldn't bet my freedom on this if I were you.

AFAIK - Legal in most states, but not in CA.

an arguement in favor of it being legal is that it isn;t a shoulder fired weapon... I'm also under the impression that a multi- barreled gatling gun is legal in CA....

Multi barrelled guns are legal. "Multi-burst trigger activators" are not! It doesn't make a difference what kind of "gun" a "multi-burst trigger activator" is on or, even if it is mounted on a gun. They are illegal to have in California. So, the "shoulder fired" arguement is irrelavent.

I can't imagine this being very fun when limited to 20rds anyway. Well, at least not as fun as it would be with a couple of 50rd drums :p
