Just call up Lauer and have them do some custom engraving on one of their lowers...

I talked to the guy at the metroshot booth at the ventura gun show and he said that Spike's Tactical was going to make one to match their .22 upper...just FYI

Ah, Metroshot will be first on market to California for the first ever, dedicated 22LR M4 detachable mag rifle !

This rifle that was shown at the Ventura County Gun Show last weekend was a prototype unit.

The production rifle is around $850 +/- 10% depending on the Atchison 22LR upper.

The lower is from Sabre Defence made exclusively for Metroshot - marked: "22LR".

Initially, the first 100, we will offer complete 22 rifles.
Second run will be the .22LR dedicated lower halves (no stripped), 22 Atchison uppers, and conversion kits (to use your own 5.56mm upper - less accurate, but still good for plinking).

The upper is a Max Atchison designed bolt / magazine system that uses .22LR (.221") or 17M2 caliber proprietary sleeves.

My wife has a DPMS dedicated M4 .22LR upper set.

By dedicated do you mean that the lower as well has "22" on it?

She would love a GSG 5 long heavy barrel carbine version ! (Or even a WASR 22 (Romanian AK variant in .22 cal) ...:p

Get over it.

I might have some Centermass Tactical Lowers just before Spike's gets theirs out, then I am going to have some Spike's Lowers too. The race is certainly on.

Yes, the 22LR AR rifle race is on!

See a video of an actual working M261 22LR rifle ???
See it here ----> VIDEO LINK: M261 22LR rifle shooting at Angeles Range available only thru: METROSHOT (http://www.metroshotfirearms.com/22LR.wmv)

We have the SABRE 22LR marked Rimfire AR lowers coming in from Sabre Defence (exclusively for Metroshot) next week! They just got their anodizing finish done!

They will be a beauty when mated with the M261 upper that is different than the Spikes, Ciener, Atchison, DPMS, Air Force, IIRC, etc... The best news: These 22LR lowers will take any type of upper you can throw on them!
Our M261 will use either: Olympic Arms, Adventure Line, Numrich Parts which are the aluminum 30 rd 5.56mm AR bodies w/ 10rd 22LR sleeves. The Black Dog Oly mags which is being made now will be the all plastic magazine dedicated for the M261 upper.

We even have for sale the Black Dog magazines for the Spikes / Ciener / Atchison platform!

So we are very open minded when it comes to 22LR AR rifles!

:D
