Just finished my first OLL build. Still need vertical grip and buis. Other than that, it's good to go and even got to shoot it yesterday at the range...

I took it down...no one commented on it so I said what's the point of it being up. :(

How much for the Kel-tec?

$800 for the Kel-Tec, custom forend, harris bipod, caa bipod adapter, barksa scope, 2 10 round kel-tec mags, and 2 30/10 c-product mags. Rifle is new and unfired and includes manual and rifle tool. I'm actually saving up for a USC so I'm sacrificing the Kel-Tec. Paid almost $1000 for everything.

Give it some time, it's only been a couple of days. :) Put her back, I want to see it.

STEALTH CALI COMPLIANT SELF-LOADER..........HHHMMM DOJs gonna love that one........:D

Not to mention you can fold it in half and fit it inside a backpack and it holds ammo in the stock so its easier to reload when firing from the hip :D. Seriously how the hell is a SU-16 more legal than a AR

Nice AR. Did you get the First or second generation Chippie trigger? I've been wanting to get the flat single stage one. How does it shoot?

2nd Gen I assume....I just got it a few weeks ago. It shoots amazing....it's actually the first AR I've every shot but the trigger feels solid in my noob opinion.

Are you able to move the safety lever to safe when ther's no round in the chamber? I remember I couldn't do this with the mil spec LPK but I'm able to do it with the Chippie trigger. I wonder if this is normal.

Hey Filter, off topic question for ya my friend. I bought a couple 10/30 C-Products mags for my KelTec SU16Ca and when chambering rounds it seems to jam rounds between the bolt and the feed ramp on the barrel. Did you have any issues like that? My crappy 10 round keltec mags work perfect.

I use my Bushmaster 10/20 mags in my Keltec and I have the opposite - the keltec mags have more issues. I would try ever so slightly bending the feed lips up on the magazine with some needle nose pliers to slightly raise the tip of the round when feeding.

No I can't do it. I was also wondering if this is normal?

Wrong person to answer your question, sorry. The Kel-Tec is new and unfired. I just recently decided not to shoot it so that maybe I'd be able to sell it easier? I really want a USC so I'm trying to off load the Kel-Tec. Under normal circumstances, I'd just keep it and buy the USC but my wife already thinks I'm stocking up for a war.

Nice AR. No BUIS on the 2HT? I love the look of those PMags. I need to find seller for parts for my build.

BUIS and vertical grip are all I have left to get...maybe rail covers too.

Doesn't the 2HT normally come with ARMS 40A2 BUIS? I was real close to wanting a 2HT.

I believe so. The only place I found it where you could buy it for $610 shipped was Rainier Arms. That $610 price was without the ARMS though. I originally got it without because I thought I'd want something different. But I think I'm going with the ARMS 40.

You can go to ar15.com, there's a guy who sells them for $495 shipped.

The rivet fixed 10/30 magazines scare me so much.

Otherwise what a great build. Good job.

Hmm, they will also sell you a ARMS 40 A2 take-off from their 2HT's for $85.

I really like the Troy but they are $140.

Hmm, I was looking at them the other day. Someone must be watching. :kest:

That's the cheapest I've seen them new. For under $100 can get MI BUIS sights that are supposed to be fairly good. There's always YHM for cheap too.
