I have received numerous emails about asking about our 2008 event. Here is what we have so far.

As of today the dates are:

Friday August 29th Our crew will be setting up and you can zero your rifles on the 100yard public range. There is also a 300yard range also available. No one will be shooting on the 1K or steel range this day.

Saturday August 30th Match Day
Sunday August 31st Match Day

September 1st is Labor Day so that gives some of you guys an extra travel day.

This event will be maxed out at 50 shooters but only 43 spots will be open.

4 spots will go to our biggest sponsors.
3 spots will be donated to active duty military folks that specialize in this arena. We have not determined who will get these spots yet.

Cost is hovering around 150.00 per shooter which includes 1 match shirt and BBQ on Saturday.

Registration will probably open up around March 2008.

Please reply to this post if you plan on being there so we have a rough idea.

Thank you from myself and the rest of our crew. We hope to put on another good event for you guys.

Could you post the course of fire from last year so that we can see what the basic idea is?

Hey Vu

Thanks for holding it on an even numbered month. I won't have to miss a day of work this time.

Thank you for your interest in this event.

Cypriss....you can shoot your AR-10 as long as you pull the charging handle on each shot to simulate the working of a bolt. :)

Rob...you know I always take care of you man! Besides I love the look on peoples faces when you school em with your Swede.

We got a few things in the works this year to make things a lil more dynamic.

Those of you that shoot race guns...hope those lil 115gn bullets knock steel over.

2nd...we are working in a media shoot where you may have to penetrate something before getting to your target.

We are a lil over 10 months out so lots can change and my crew and I are thinking of evil things each day.

Since the biggest complaint last year was the BBQ we have switched companies to take care of our BBQ.

We are also working on a possibility of a night shoot.

So how about active duty military that aren't MOS'ed (Army) as pulling this kind of duty but have pulled due to operational needs?

Other than that, what's the donation $$$ for sponsors and can vendor tables be set up?
