What's 44spl costing you at your local shop? I was gonna get a box to fire through a couple guns that I've never shot and it was $30 for a box of 50

Holy WOW! That'd slow me down from buying that Bulldog I've been wanting. Was that price for ball or for hollow points?

I usually see it for about the same as .44 mag.

I have never fired a single round of commercial .44special but that sounds about right. You might be able to save a couple of buck buying it online our get some dies and load it yourself. The brass isn't cheap but should last for at least 20 loadings, plus you don't have to bend over to pick it up.

I bought two boxes for about $30 each just so I could get the brass. You can get 44 mag for a few bucks cheaper.

BTW, the "last sale price" on 44mag 180 grain soft point remington UMC at Big 5 was $19.99 (currently $30 also). I did manage to get a few boxes of this.

I'm gonna have to hit big5 up. I wish this gun shot 44mag.

I think my .44 Special reloads cost me about $6.50 per 50. It gets cheaper the more I reload, due to the adjustment cost of the brass. I figure the cheapest it'll get is $5 a box of 50.
