I know SoCal has Trutanich Michel, LLP. But who do we go to in the Bay Area incase we run into OLL issues?

Don Kilmer is here in San Jose. http://www.dklawoffice.com

I do not know of the skill set/background of the other CA firearms lawyers I know of (Bruce Colodny (SoCal), Gary Cockriell (Forestville)) - these guys may be more oriented towards misuse & self-defense matters than technical gun stuff.

That being said, if you're in a jam the first thing is to Get A Criminal Lawyer. Many so-called gun cases are not necessarily that and hinge on ordinary criminal law relating to search/seizure matters, etc.

It may behoove you to have a good local lawyer that brings in the gun lawyer for an hour or two of consultation here & there to save travel time, etc. Your local lawyer may have some relationships with local prosecutors & judges that should not be discounted.

Um, he was on the bill on Harrott?

He's not liked by a couple of our fave BoFfers?

Nice victory against SJPD for warrantless raid issues?

Helped kill SJ Saiga case? Helping various FFLs keep their FFLs?
