Does anyone have any experience with S&W's semi auto Chiefs Specials? I am looking at a CS45. It's a 3" barrel s/s model. Reliable? How hard is it to find magazines and a holster for?

Screw a .45, here's one in 40mm (http://www.turners.com/shop/gundetail.php?id=3079)!

My brother has a CS in .45, and it's a handful. Hard grips, lots of recoil, and man, is that bugger loud! I've only shot it a few times, and it's always been very reliable.
This was desert shooting, so we didn't really shoot for accuracy, but it suffered a bit in my hands due to being small and uncomfortable for me. Also, I was using earplugs, rather than my usual super-muffs, but it seemed noticeably louder than the .357s we were shooting at the same time.
As a mid-size concealable .45, it seems like a good bet, but IMO, it suffers from many of the problems of small, powerful handguns.

I went and shot one today at magnum Range. I didn't like the grip at all, and I read that there are no replacements. I'm gonna pass.
