I found this (http://pookieweb.dyndns.org:61129/AK/docs/AK47receiverplan_rev2.pdf).
Just wondering how accurate it is, anyone who's built one from an 80% complete flat...
what gauge is the metal used? could it be different? anyone have a template for a unbent flat???

what I'm thinking is that I have access to a turret/ cnc machine and that I could run a few SHEETS of this, I just need a very accurate template to start, I can then autocad it and create a program with like 60 flats per sheet, pay the boss for a sheet and run it on my lunch :gunsmilie:

so AK flat template,
bend measurements, how tight are they?
metal gauge, stainless steel or aluminized :D

this works out, I'll have a bunch of flats to throw around, could even use punch outs if the sizes are right for the hole punchs so you'd have to finish the punch with a screw driver or something, make them like 60% or something so there is no trouble to be gotten into...

lets see if this works...

Your profile does not show your location.
There are various group builds available depending on where you reside.

You'll notice how that entire website is about pookie building dozens of AK types, what makes you think it isn't accurate?
