I don't post here very much but I read alot. How do I know if any of my OLLs are actually on the list and how will I know when they get added? I read in another post about some memos at the DOJ or ATF that said ADD (This) and ADD (That). Where can I see the list and how can I get notified if thst list changes oor is updated?

The list never changes and never gets updated.
The receivers on the following list are legal: http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=34397&highlight=off-list+list

Your guns are 'off-list' if they are truly not listed in any of the below lists. Don't play trivial games with hyphens or plurals etc., and (for now) if it says "XYZ (all)" is banned, that means XYZ 123, XYZ 999, etc. is banned. Generally speaking, the 2001 Harrott decision says guns must be formally listed by make and model combination to be considered banned.
The lists of banned-by-name guns are in
Roberti-Roos guns http://ag.ca.gov/firearms/dwcl/12275.php
regulatory echo of Roberti-Roos, 11 CCR 5495: first portion of http://ag.ca.gov/firearms/regs/chapter40.pdf
Kasler list of identified AR/AK 'series' members, 11 CCR 5499: last portion of http://ag.ca.gov/firearms/regs/chapter40.pdf
and how will I know when they get added?
The list is frozen as of 1/1/2007 due to passage of AB2728 (passed in 2006), where DOJ surrendered its authority to identify/'list' new 'series' members, and also gave up the authority to petition certain superior courts to 'list' other non-'series' models as banned AWs.
What is or isn't a banned-by-name gun is frozen. No new guns can be 'named', though the existing lists still do apply - along with SB23 features restrictions in 12276.1PC.
