At least you can part with your guns. I can only buy. Oddly enough, I think I'm addicted to the process of buying a gun: picking it out...waiting my ten days...gathering my accessories.

I see you have the Glock 27 down twice. Did it cheat on you and you gave it a second chance? :)

Sadly, there are a few guns that were sold and then bought again and then sold again. Glock 30, Glock 19, Walther P99, Glock 22 and Glock 32/23.

I have only sold about a half a dozen guns.
I try to decide if I want them BEFORE I buy them.

My list of what has stayed in my collection is considerably longer than what you have sold.

How long is the list of things you kept?

I believe I have the same addiction too! :-P

I need a 12 step program as well. I can't stop. I have 3 on DROS right now.

But is there really a program that would help? What could possibly take the place of the rush created by the imminent ten day wait?

What could possibly take the place of the rush created by the imminent ten day wait?

Moving out of state and using an NICS instant-check. ;)

Imagine walking into the gun store, spotting something you like, paying for it and simply walking out of the store within 15 minutes.
This happens in most of the country.

Now the real question is .....did you lose or make money on all those sales??!!

There's a 223 and a slug capable 12ga in that list.
Either of those will reach out and touch someone.

Looks to be a handgun guy though doesn't he?

Don't forget the Uzi. The biggest regret in selling. Yes, mostly handguns. I still have a DSA/RRA Cal Legal .223, a Winchester 94, Remington 870, 3 Glock 23's (2 CCW guns), S&W 649 (CCW gun), Glock 35, Browning Hi Power, Browning Buckmark, Springfield Loaded & Walther P99c. Only a few of the sales made money, most came close to breaking even/losing a little, a few lost close to $100+. Actually, in review 42 guns in 17 years doesn't seem all that bad. Denial stage!

You know that you've got a problem when you have to start selling to help finance your addiction! My advise is to stop selling your guns! I usually regret selling the few that I've sold. Like the 1890 in 22long that I sold for $200 20+ years ago. Or, my first gun, an Ithica 22 that I got $40 for 20+ years ago. Yea, there were a few that I'm glad I got rid of like a closed bolt MAC, a Tech 22 and a Charles Daly officer's model 1911. But, it won't have killed me to keep them either.

looks to me like you're posting to the support group. :D

We support buying guns and realize that sometimes guns must be sold.

Anyone selling that many guns has problems, unless it is to buy more guns. I however can not bring myself to sell my guns.
