I went in today to take my HSC test, and passed with a 100%. I wasn't planning on getting a handgun, but after I picked up the XD-40 5in tactical again, I decided that I had to have it.

So now, I have bought myself my first handgun. Can't wait to take it out to the range.

Congrats.

Now prepare for the downhill spiraling of your savings account. Good choice of pistol. My 1st and 2nd handgun were both XDs. I only have 1 now but have been thinking about getting a XD9 tactical.

 Congratulations my friend! Excellent choice. I also own an SA XD. Mine is a 4 inch service model chambered in 45 ACP. That gun is soooo pretty, and it feels great in the hand. I'm sure you'll agree. The business end of that gun is intimidating. I wanna go shoot it now. I've been neglecting it for awhile. Congrats again.
