Looking for some recommendation on light+laser combo attachments via frame rail on my xds. Also is the glock rail and xd rail the same dimensions? looking to stay under $300.

thanks

I use a streamlight TLR2 on my G17, I think it was about 200$

works good, no complaints, I'm still on my first set of batteries and its what I use to go chase off the bicycle steeling hobo's on a fairly regular basis.

M6 works fine on all my XDs (except the compact).

This wont help you right now but Surefire just came out with their X300 light, but its hard to find right now.

I heard they will be releasing a X300L that has a laser on it also, but i don't know when that is.

I use the following on my XD

- x2. Compact weapons light. Incandescent.
- M6. LED

The M6 is brighter and the LED means longer burn time. You also have better control on sighting in the laser.

I have the glock light on my glock for over 2 years now. $90 when I bought it, and I think you can find it cheaper on the web. It's bright and casts a slightly grainy pattern that allows me to identify the point of aim. Since the light pattern gives me the point of aim, I have not considered using laser.

you can't go wrong w/ a Streamlight TLR2. Just picked one up for my S&W M&P 40.

I've got an Insight M3 on my XD9. No laser, but its a xenon bulb, around 90 lumens, and runs for an hour or so. Got it for under $90 on eBay.

ETA: It will fit on a Glock.
