Would you be willing to sell the sling mount separately?

Only thing I had any problems with was Wolf black box. It would strike the primer but not set it off. I called DPMS cause I thought maybe the firing pin was short or something. First thing he asked was am I shooting Wolf? He then proceeded to tell me try something else. Sure enough bought a couple boxes at Wal Mart (think it was winchester) and it ran perfect. Per DPMS, it just doesn't like wolf because I guess the primers are deep on their bullets. Thing shoots awesome though!

Rather not right now, To be honest I dont want to sell any of it, but I am trying to put together a complete reload setup. ;)

So what is the deal with Wolf and the upper?

What kind of failure problem was it?

Was it that the powder burns dirty and fouls the gas system?

Was it a feeding problem?

Maybe it was a failure to extract problem?

I have always thought of a 7.62R-short upper as a cheap shooter but it seems everyone that has the conversion uppers describe some kind of problems shooting the cheap Russian/Chinese (from yesteryear)/etc.

Anyways I digress, sorry.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!

Thats a common problem with all 7.62x39 ARs as far as I know. Easy fixes.

1. Install Wolff Extra Power Hammer Spring
2. Shave a couple thousands off the back of the bolt so the firing pin can travel deeper.

I did both, and it works great. Fires both brass and steel cased excellently.

if you decide to part it out, I'm interested in the lower.

Flux Cap is dead on...seems to be common with everyone I have talked to about 7.62 uppers.

Swift, not interested in seling the lower at this point, but if I change my mind I will let oyu know. Really rather sell the upper or complete rifle....need the money to fun another project.

OK, finally got a Wolff heavy hammer spring and installed this morning. Gonna try and get to test it this week some time to make sure it is good to go, then I will delete the disclaimer ;)
