So I was at the range shooting and my sisters boyfriend asks for some help. Well I go and look at my browning buckmark and the guiderod is bent upward into the hood of the gun. So the slide stops working and there is a gouge in the plastic hood. I take the gun apart and the spring shoots off of the guide rod and I notice that the rod itself is bent funny (I lost the c-clip that holds the spring on ). So do you think I can get warranty work on this? And what causes this, I always follow the instructions? This is the second problem I have had with this gun!

Id get a whole replacement guide rod assembly. But don't let the guide rod turn you off from the buckmarks. It was the first gun for me when I was 14, and 8,000 trouble free rounds later and Im still in love. As for the warranty information, Id give browning a call, they usually have pretty good customer service and support.
