That's very cool!
I'm currently in the process of collecting early model rifles so I can do my own tribute to US war weapons. I just need a Garand and I'm good to go!

Love the pattern on the M1 carbine!

It's nice, but I like the upper M1 Garand the best. It's not that special but it's one of the last Winchester M1 Garands to come from the CMP. I ordered it and two or three days after processing they sold out and I've yet to see them return. It's a first year Winchester and the finish looks like it was refinished LONG ago but has a nice green patina all around it, not to mention the wood looks matching.

Yeah, it's a keeper.
