Make: Arisaka

Model: Type 99??

Caliber: 7.7x58

Location (city or county): Pasadena

Price: $150 OBO

Will ship (Y/N): No

Other info: Hey guys I am thining the herd and I have a Arisaka with intact imperial seal. Other than that I am not really sure, I am pretty sure its a Type 99. The gun is in pretty rough shape, its missing the firing pin and mechanism, missing the upper hand guard and handguard band and the stock is cracked.

I am open to trades for fixed blade Knives such as Scrap Yard Knives, ESEE, ONTARIO, Benchmade, TOPS. I am also open to axes from any of these manufactures. I am open to other fire arm trades plus or minus cash.

Here is your chance to own a bit of history.

Looks like that's a Type 38 in 6.5mm, which was out right before the Type 99. Nice rifle!

That is not a crack. That is a stock splice. Most Arisakas have two-piece stocks. Looks like a "chip" missing near the butt plate?

Nice deal for some one who does not mind getting the other parts to complete it.

What the ARG said. That is supposed to be there. They splice the stock together like that. If it wasn't there you woudn't get $50 for that rifle as it would most likely be a trainer. One round through one of those and big BANG in your face.

The chip along the splice looks to be an arsenal repair. Or maybe a real chip. Can't quite tell.

It is also missing the dust cover. BUT.... the mum saves all!!!

Anyway, too bad you don't ship.
