anyone know what surplus FN-Fal mags are going for? I just got given some from a buddy and since I dont have a FAL figure I'll sell em.

Also how do I tell weather they are metric or inch

metric have a small stamped triangle shaped lug stamped in the front, inch is more like a rectangle.

Get on FALfiles and read up. Metrics have a ground in notch where the body is folded and rolled together. Inch has a big lug right in the middle.
If they are good steyr mags they can fetch a very good price. Korean repops, not so much. There's a lot of variations of FAL mags, some rock, some wont feed worth a damn no matter what you do to them.
Post a photo of the feed lips and the back of the mag and that will help a lot.

More then that if they are the metal ones. That would be ok for the plastic ones like the Thermolds.

they are Steel Metric mags

I know the inch ones for my rifle were like $50 each (pre-panic). The plastic Thermolds were like $16 but the metal factory ones are just much better in my opinion.

Seems like a good deal to me but keep in mind if they are 20 rounds mags they can not be sold in Cali unless taken apart and sold as rebuild kits for those that have mags acquired before the ban.

The inch ones weren't. Pretty much the same price as the M1A mags
