Ill start, standard Vepr in 762X39 with 20" barrel.

No, but for 7.62x39 you should stick with the 16" barrel. That round doesn't really benefit from a longer barrel.

How about a larue/magpul UDE kit and a larue risr.

Definitly go for the 20" especially if you handload heavy bullets and shoot long distance (beyond the 50 yard sniper line) out to 600 yards if accurate within 2 MOA.

Std. ammo wont cut it beyond 350 yards.
