I am looking at mounts I see Weaver and Picatinny, Some same both.

What is the differance?

Will this one work?

Sorry not trying to be a douche but please don't buy that lol. Ncstar stuff is for airsoft IMHO. A good one piece mount will cost around $100. Try the Burris PEPR it's what I and alot of others here use. You'll save alot of headache not chincing on the mount.

As for mounts in general Weaver and Picatinny are not the same but close enough to use on guns now. Weaver just clamps on the Side Picatinny have the bar that goes in between If I' am not mistaken.

Get the Burris PEPR
It comes in 30mm. And. 1inch tubes

Step up and get an American Defense...That is what I have and that is a EXCELLENT scope mount.

If you want a budget mount that actually works pretty good… Burris PERP

put it this way, i have a PEPR and a Larue mount. Can't go wrong with any of these...

For rugged use and will maintain your when you mount/dismount your optic LaRue.@ 195.00

For a solid mount that will not be taken off, reinstalled, best for the money and expected to return to zero IMHO RRA @ 60.00.

for toy guns, get ncstar and utg. I have a burris pepr, works great on an AR.

Main difference between weaver and picatinny is that the slots are wider on picatinny. Therefore weaver rings will usually mount on a pic rail, but not the other way around.
