Here's my BCM Jack Carbine Inspired Build. Parts aren't exact since BCM stuff never interested me. The BCM parts were replaced with better or just as good and definitely more expensive parts. I'll also list the costs since many people are interested.

Note: All parts and prices listed were bought AFTER Newtown Shooting during the height of the panic with the exception of the stripped lower and upper.

I didn't want to jump on the other guy's thread so I just made my own.

Mega Arms Forged Lower $105
Mega Arms Forged Upper $90

Geissele SMR mk1 10" Rail $340
FN 16" Mid-length "Machine Gun" Barrel $189

Mega Arms Chrome Trigger $100
Mega Arms Billet Charging Han1dle $31
PRI Combat Latch $20

RockRiver LPK $56
Misc/Upper Parts/Buffer & Spring $40
Magpul UBR Stock $200
Magpul MIAD $32

Daniel Defense Chrome BCG $199
AAC Blackout Flash hider $109
Midwest Industries Lo-Pro Gas Block $35
Mid-length Gas Tube $12

Troy BattleSight BUIS $199
Inforce LED WeaponLight $130
BulletButton $12
10/30 DH Magazine $17

TOTAL: $1,916 +/-

Cerekote + $200 credit to Jack Haley Carbine Course would bring it within $100 to the MSRP of the actual BCM Jack carbine. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

Nice rifle looks like its got some weight to it. How much does that bad boy weigh?

I don't have a scale but it weighs less than my Larue SS build. It's not so extremely heavy or anything.

What scope is that? Does the final $ include it?

Trijicon TA31-rco. No The costs I put up were only enough to compare to the BCM Jack carbine. Add $1050+125 for the mount and optic to the total if you want to price the optic in there

Nice rifle! I have the AAC Brakeout on my rifle and enjoy it. How's the Blackout doing? How's that inforce light working for you? I was using a Surefire Scout but will move to the Inforce.

Good looking rig, I just switched to the Breakout myself. Let me know how you like the blackout.

I put a brakeout and a surefire mb on and it just didn't look good or right. Seems to look ok with the blackout though. Inforce light is pretty cool I guess, It does what its supposed the position is pretty good.

If BCM stuff doesn't interest you then why make a BCM inspired build?? ;) Nice build btw :D

Alright you got me. The BCM Gas-Tube was just too badass for me not to want.

He's probably a fan of Travis Haley (I know I am). Or maybe he has to conduct a snatch and grab this weekend (I know I do). :)

Looks good! How's the balance on it? I know the JACK has a lighter stock but weight distribution > reduced weight. I'd build one of these as well if prices weren't so fcuked up right now.

where did you get the BCG? You said you got it after sandy hook. I would love me a regular phosphate one too.

It's pretty even , I actually bought most of the parts during the height of the panic at pre-panic prices or better.

Not really, Mickey mouse could have built a rifle that looked the same and I would have liked it. I really just liked Geislee rail if anything
