Unless HK decides to start adding magazine disconnects to its new guns I dont think we will ever see a new HK again.

The P2000 is designed for a loaded chamber indicator & a mag disconnect (the user manual mentions this feature). The current P2000 sold in Kali doesn't use the mag disconnect feature. There's probably a few LE agencies that requires a mag disconnect like the CHP & NYPD. (I believe?)

I think HK & other manufacturers that want to sell in Kali to civilians have these restrictions in mind when designing new products. We'll probably see the P30 after everyone else in the free states get theirs.

Yes they are, but not many people have the dough to throw out for these. And then you gotta buy the $50+ 10rnd mags (P30 9mm).

only if i could...two of each pls...and tactical version too:p

I'd be happy to purchase a USP if they just change the grips to the HK45 or P30.

I've had both the P30 and HK45, sold them both. The triggers and sights on both pistols blew.

I just found them overpriced for what they are, and there is no excuse for those lousy sights that they come with.

Yes, they are expensive...but as for me, the fit is awesome...better then my S&W M&P, but of course it all narrows down to what's best for you...curious, Vin, what's a good fit for u?

It's not that they didn't fit nice. I just didn't think they warranted the price, at the end of the day they are a polymer gun with fairly crappy triggers and lousy sights.

I would have been extra mad if I had paid California prices for them. The fact that I sold them for more than I paid made it easier to get rid of them.

Interesting! The only DA/SA I have left is my HK P2000 V3. I am very fond of it and one of my favorite things about it are the sights! I'm actually thinking of sending the slide to Tooltech to have them install a tritium tube in the front sight only.

The P2000/HK USP don't have the same sights as the P30/HK45 line. The P30/HK45 use a superluminova sight, basically night sights that have to be exposed to light before the will glow, and then they slowly dim over an hour or so.

HK rep always says something along the lines of 'It's coming' but that's the same answer I got about 2 years ago, or whenever HK45 came to civilian market. The problem it faces is that even with mag disconnect, the loaded chamber indicator is not satisfying those in Sacramento, so unless they make the LCI a lot bigger it ain't gonna happen.

what's with all the old threads getting dug up thesedays?

Oops.. I thought you were talking about the sights on the P2000. Haven't seen the sights on the P30/HK45.
