Are the older full dust cover Operators any more desirable than the new short dust cover models?

In my experience, the TRP Operators with the full dust cover are definitely more sought after. I have one and I doubt I will ever let it go.

Yes, but if those were still in production then I don't think they will be any more desirable than the new model.

i think they are desirable in the fact that they look unique. it's a soft shooter too due to the rail and bull barrel.

Thanks for the input. Mine is/was a mil-spec so it has a bushing barrel. I added STI fire controls, grip and thumb safties and a Bomar rear sight. I've though about selling it and don't want to give it away. I see that the new Operators are going for $800 to $1,400+ depending on version.

I have shot the loaded operator, the MC operator, and owned the trp operator. All are good the trp was great for all intents and purposes. I have shot ccwguys operator and it is one of the better loaded operators i have fired. He is a good guy.
