Not sure if anyone noticed, all but one Les Baer will be falling off the Certified for Sale list by November 14 of this year.

Hm...if they don't, I'm sure current Les Baer owners will be very happy as their guns will appreciate significantly overnight.

With the amount of money they make here in Cali, I couldn't see why they wouldn't. But, stranger things have happened.

All 20 guns can be renewed for the selling price of 2 Baers. I would be very, very surprised if Les let them fall off the list....he isn't a stupid man.

What is the renewal price per model to stay on the roster?

It's $200 per model unless the BoF decides they need to inspect the facilities. Then it's $800 I think.

With Baer's case, they just moved to LeClaire, Iowa so I don't think there is a line of BoF agents who are dying to go on an inspection trip. :)

I'll probably be getting myself a Les Baer in the future, so I hope he renews!

You really have to call Les Baer and ask. You won't be able to tell by looking at it. I think many times the guns are approved again before anything new is even updated on the list.

Since 1911s don't have a mag safety and a loaded chamber indicator, I believe we can't see more 1911s added to the list.

I fear that someday some manufacturer is going to miss the renewal of a 1911. I don't think there is any way you can get back on the list if it does not meet current requirements, even if it was on the list before. So not only will we not see more 1911s, we'll see fewer on the list.

I believe we will see a variety of 22Short single-shot conversions for 1911 frames :)
