Top is serial no. 88911 - Bottom is serial no. 88777 - Both have matching mags - Made in the 18 * 9 year of the Emperor's reign -

What are the odds -

A pair of very clean pistols, nice for the collection.

It seems that the WW2 Jap material is still some of the most reasonably priced for what you actually end up owning.
Compared to anything waffen marked they are a great deal.

8mm Nambu ammo is expensive and the firing pins are easy to break. People also complain of weakened or broken springs. That being said I hear they are pleasant to shoot - I don't shoot mine.

Some of the firing pins are numbered too, so watch out for seriously devaluing your pistol if you break a numbered matching part.
