I have a bunch of older 45 ACP once fired brass mostly stamped WCC in the years 63 and 64. It is old military cases with crimped primer pockets. They aren't cleaned but look good for their age. I've quickly culled out the ugly cases and am hoping to sell them by the ammo can full. I figure I'll have about 4 cans worth but need to know (without counting them myself) how many cases fit the cans. These are the 12" X 6 1/4" X 7" ammo cans. Anyone do the math on that sized a container already??

Considering you get around 1100 loaded cases into a standard ammo can (stuffed) I would say you'd fit somewhere in the neighborhood of 1500 empties into it.

If you have a food scale, count out a hundred and then figure it out by weight.

I just got motivated and counted out about 1050 or so. I will list the weight later when I get a chance to get the scale out so everyone will know. Thanks guys. This is what the stuff looks like. Little dark from age but definately useable. I'de load it myself if I didn't already have a crapload.
