44 mag is now selling Pmag standard compacity repair kits in black see link below.
http://www.44mag.com/prodinfo.asp?number=PMAGP
For some reason this is the only one they currently offer no metal kits as of yet.
But you can get standard compacity replacement bodies($9.75 ea.) as well as full replacement parts ($6.50 ea. spring follower and floor plate) directly from C Products see below.

I desperatly need a couple replacement bodies(ones dented the other has a feed lip with a crack), but are they legal to ship to CA, how would you prove they are pre-ban? Thanks for any advice.

You don't have to. Owning hi-cap mags is not a crime. Buying them after 2000 is a crime. They would have to prove that you bought them after 2000.

Actually, buying them isn't a crime, either.

They would have to prove you imported or manufactured them.

This has been covered EXTENSIVELY before. Please use search!

I've standard USGI 30rounders. I would like to repair mine to Magpul new polymer mag.

I'd like to know which part of my USGI mag should I keep? ie. compatibility between USGI mag parts and new Magpul Polymer mag parts.

I have seen people using them, so one of more parts MUST be compatible, right?

I think you can either mod the follower, or keep your spring..

That is the official way to bring magazine parts into CA legally.

A DOJ letter attached.

So, the spring is "compatible"? If so, I'll just keep my springs... they weren't looking that bad.... but the bodies were pretty beat up from being dropped during tactical rifle matches...

im not 100% sure they are compatible...
but you can use the old ones for a bit, then replace thoose too.

I'm planning on rebuilding a mag into a Pmag just for the coolness factor..

Personally, I am not comfortable with that. But that's just me. I will at least keep 1 original items with the mag.

Buying them from out of state would be importing them, and yes, thus a crime.

I read that 30 page thread you are talking about. A whole lot of nothing came from it.
