That was a great comic. I admit I was skeptical at first. It echoes a mentality I have that many people I've had conversations with think I'm crazy for. I don't give two craps about what anyone owns as long as they aren't hurting or bothering me or mine with it. Guns, bombs, tanks, drugs, all the chemicals you want, asbestos, lead paint.... what does it matter if they aren't bothering anyone? Adults in a FREE society should be able to decide for themselves whats best for them without some people with hyperactive motherly instincts and control freaks deciding for them.

/rant, sorry :)

a faculty member i work with, receives that magazine.

i actually read that 3 weeks ago.

i was surprised at the end.

that was the same guy i had an argument with, where he said that guns makes it easier to kill someone...

Two arguments for the folks who argue bazookas are bad or guns/bazookas make it easier to kills someone:

Bazookas are bad while we let people buy fertilizer and diesel fuel at home depot and Costco....

Guns make it easier to kill people like Cash makes it easier to evade taxes. True, but irrelevant.

The revolutionaries who secured this Nation used the most advanced firearm technology available to them at the time. The 2nd Amendment doesn't talk about defending your home or Nation with handguns, shotguns or limited-capacity rifles.
The Richmond PD just confiscated a WWII era full-auto British machine gun from some BG in the course of investigating a string of shootings there last week.

More advanced than the Brits had in some cases. Rifles > muskets. :D

Hell, a lot of our guys had sights on their rifles and muskets! That's gotta be cheating!
