Hey all,
Does anyone do CeraKote locally? Was thinking of doing the frame of my M&P in the near future.

Thanks

As far as I know the closest Cerakote "certified" place is out in Anaheim called Black Oxide, dunno about any individuals that can pull it off sorry.

Thanks for the info.
Yeah, I went on the CeraKote site after I posted, they have a locator based on zip code. Did find one in Glendora I believe, but nothing in VC.

Thanks, RM.

Ever have any work done by them?
I see in their price list, CeraKote staring at $350. Doesn't that seem steep, if i just want to get either the frame or barrel of a M&P 40 coated? I am new to this, but I thought I saw pricing on other sites for a LOT less.

I will stop by and talk to them. Thanks for the link.

I have seen some of their work and it looked beautiful, never had it done myself though.

I have not. I have however heard good things about them. Check this link (http://www.griswoldbrosgunsmithing.com/#!about_us/cs18) from their site. I was thinking about having some coating done. If you do, please let us know how your experience went.

so is there a difference between cerakote, and regular ceramic coating? because there's a shop in upland that does ceramic coating...just not the brand name "cerakote" stuff
