View Full Version : Making an SBR in CA?

I was poking around HKPro and it seems that there is a lot of talk about making and using SBRs on that site. As I'm a big MP5 fan and will most likely be getting a Vector clone soon, I'm curious if it's possible to get approval for an SBR in Los Angeles. I imagine it's harder here than most places as I haven't heard of anyone doing in from Calguns. Anyway, here's the link to the info I found on HKPro:

Can this be done in CA, specifically in LA?

It seems to be pretty much impossible in CA. Unfortunately. If there is a way, I'd love to hear it as well.

If I move out of this state, the first thing on my to-do list is get an SBR. :D

We were discussing the possibility of SBS/SBR's in CA a while back...

I can't seem to find the correct code section but I think there was some sort of C&R 50 year old exemption to the SBS laws.... anyone know where to look for the correct segment?

two ways:

open your own film production company, make a name for yourself as an anti-gun activist, donate to the LAPD and LASD, as well as the DOJ, then apply for a permit to shoot "educational films".

join the DOJ!!!
