Most of Lake Co. I just bought a parcel in an area that is totally undeveloped and unincorporated for $1k. While I was looking at it I saw a half dozen deer and signs pigs were there overnight.

I replied to Diesel and a few others who inquired but I am not done buying up there so I am not going to be too specific, just look around and do not be afraid to make an offer.

The parcel I bought sold for $26,000. in 2005 and $6,000 after the crash. The guy I bought it from paid $5,500 in 2010. I got it for under a grand and it has a view of the lake.

Haven't been anyplace else in the area yet to compare, but Chabot Gun Club (http://www.chabotgunclub.com) had plenty of ARs on Sunday afternoon.

Long drive to get to it, and it was another mile to the turn-off past where my GPS said the street number was. Then there was the big red "Do Not Enter / Severe Tire Damage" sign pointed at traffic entering Murciel (?) Road off of Redwood. But it was worth the drive, put a smile on my face just to get out and put some holes in paper...

Mind the bicyclists and sport bikes on Redwood Road, especially on the weekends.
