so just to clear things up for some like me.

the guns on the list will be grandfathered, so if in 2020 I want a XD9 it wont need to have a microstamped firing pin.

I wont have to go buy a stamped firing pin for my current handgun

for guns that will be microstamped:

1. it will be illegal to file down your firing pin
2. it will be illegal to replace ur firing pin with one that is not stamped
3. if the firing pin gets worn out, then i am not responsible to replace it

we have sooo many retards in this state.

Look at it this way- with the current chamber indicator/mag safety rules, we can't have 95% of all the new pistols on the market anyways- CA sucks.. HARD :(

Like a criminal doesn't know what a file is...

Pretty much.. If Arnold does sign it, we might want to all write our favorite manufacturers and stress to them how it important it is to keep their pistols on the roster.

I'll buy lots more handguns before 2010, then send lots more emails, faxes and letters.

That is not codified. It is just for new sale.

However the law has a defect on whether these guns (even if approved) could be resold via FFL (and not as a PPT) with worn-out marking device.

This state is getting ridiculous! Maybe the next bill is banning all guns! Only in Cali!!

I finally figured it out:

The trend is to make law abiding gun owners pay the price for crimes committed in the inner cities.

If you remove inner city violence from the equation, there is actually very little gun violence in California.

Can't you buy them PPT still?
