Big 5 on h street has Winchester 55 grain 223 ammo for 13.99/20 rds. Max 5 boxes per customer so I was only able to get 100 rds. 25-30 boxes left when I left. No one in store

I stopped by my LGS yesterday asking about 5.56 ammo. They say they've heard of it. I was surprised to see they had stripped lowers for cheap.

+1

The sad part is consumers are training themselves to accept these high prices and stores acknowledge this pricing structure is OK and will probably be here to stay.

Naw sad part is that's cheap now, local shop was selling ae for $30 and pulled 20 rounds on stripper clips from cans and selling for $35, were also selling the cans for $17, it's no wonder why they had some on the selves

Yeah, in all likelihood, like gas, it will dip a bit if things straighten out, but it will never drop down to where it was I fear.

I hope not. I think there's enough decent places online with decent, non-gouging people working there that will bring the prices back down. Like aimsurplus.com and such.
